  1. One goal in three live games so far.
  2. Man Utd pulling away from us
  3. Just give him a mobile and get on with it.
  4. That is a good thing, surely?
  5. The problem is the yellows for soft things. That is a blatant attempt to trip and not play the ball. Has to be a yellow. If it ruins the spectacle, so be it. Players cynically fouling ruins the game, too.
  6. Neville isn't commentating.
  7. We are "difficult to beat" because our goalkeeper is regularly playing blinders.
  8. The win yesterday, despite the performance, has eased things a little. Southampton away is a good test of how well coached we are. If we sit on the back foot and invite pressure by a team with one point who we beat comfortably twice last season then it will fully say the is how we intend to play each week.
  9. He's a much worse version of Brendan Rodgers who has been heavily linked with us in the past and will no doubt be our manager at some point.
  10. Missed it due to travel issues so frustrated it had to be today but glad we won.
  11. Not sure it is. Yes, beating them is good for the fans but we really can't afford to lose the two games either side of it. Winning those but losing this is probably better, to be honest. Given the run after Ipswich, failure to win any of the next four and we will likely be well adrift come the New Year.
  12. Football pundits who do little research. According to Chris Sutton, our fans don't like Cooper because of his Nottingham Forest connections. I know this place isn't the be all and end all of the fan base but we have a 100 page thread on the manager and I can't recall a post claiming that is the reason. At games I haven't heard anyone say "I dunt like Cooper cos eez Forrist!" . Stealing a living. Other journalists, usually non-players, actually put the effort in.
  13. Like most things, nostalgia overrates/ distorts it. However, do you see this decade being pined for in 30 years?
  14. Is it one question only?
  15. Rodgers would've been hopeless in this for us. We'd never beat Bayern.
  16. Hopefully this gets highlighted in the wider media like the £25 charge did. Well done to those involved for doing this, a vital service. We are a thoroughly dislikeable club. There is no excuse for not supporting or promoting this. Family club my arse.
  17. Rodgers' acolytes will point to results like this as being proof he can't compete or be judged but he has had some shocking results in Europe for over a decade against clubs nowhere near the elite. He is a poor European coach.
  18. Lads, it's Brendan
  19. If Rodgers wasn't an elite manager these games could be really one-sided.
  20. He didn't complain all the time. The main issue was after the Swansea match during a two month spell of us regularly scoring 3 or more per game where he couldn't understand the criticism at the time. I don't know whether we would be doing much better with Maresca but this style of play certainly isn't going to be successful.
  21. We'd be better to watch under Maresca. Our attacking players would be more involved.
  22. She was voted out of a constituency seat in Tory Central. But yes, she'd have won the election.
  23. Get it in the cement mixer.
  24. Bruss moves nearer to the sack, Rudkin waits for his dream appointment.
  25. Saints defeat. Bournemouth will be nowhere near the relegation zone.
