The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)
Heart-Shaped Fox replied to Sly's topic in General Chat
Just back from my best ever 5km time, 23:27. I'm relatively pleased with that, didn't start running until early October and was struggling to even do a 4km without stopping. I couldn't long ago even jog from the KP back to Morrisons area where car was parked without being truly ****ed Did my first 10km last week at a slow pace just to build endurance. Will probably do the same Friday when I'm off (weather permitting) -
West Ham home. Tuesday night.

I don't mind the 5 at the back But Mcateer as rwb over Justin. Maybe play Justin as RCB, Vesty in middle and Coady the other side? Then Thomas or Kristiansen lwb -

Newcastle Saturday December 14th 3PM
Heart-Shaped Fox replied to Blueman1967's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Train fares have ruled me out of this. First away in league I'll have missed for 14 months which is shame Can't justify the cost so near Christmas -
I've seen the false hope of Soumare before. But yesterday he looked hungry. Personally thought Winks was off it yesterday. Possibly give Soumare a go with Ndidi again?

Defence looks more controlled especially on the ball with him playing. Ipswich didn't really threaten us with counters which is obviously his downfall. Should start next game though I think

The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)
Heart-Shaped Fox replied to Sly's topic in General Chat
Honestly shocked to see some of the times in here over the thread. Some are staggeringly good I think. I started running about three weeks ago due to frankly getting a bit bored of having energy and not using it. 33 years old in like three days for context. Mainly switched between 4km and 5km runs, depending on the state of my back frankly. Just had nine days off running because of it until this morning. My 5km best is about 25:50 I think. I'd like to get that down to about 23 mins long term, my best 4km is about 19 mins something so I'd to sit at just over 4:30 per km. But seeing people in here in around 20-22 mins for 5km is honestly so impressive so kudos to you! -
Lose at Ipswich and he's got to go really. The defending is getting worse and worse. It's not being fixed. We were lucky to keep a clean sheet against Bournemouth.

Notts Forest (H) Friday 25th October 8pm
Heart-Shaped Fox replied to FoxinNotts's topic in Leicester City Forum
Apologies if this has been said already. But what is our record on the remembrance fixture? Certainly the home game one each season...it seems to be terrible from memory? Forest are an organised, drilled side. I can't see many goals, would probably take a draw if offered followed by a positive result at Ipswich -
Top should be sat watching thinking that could have been us if he hadn't have ****ed around with Brendan for too long. We were lightyears ahead of Villa and Emery has transformed them. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised to see them get deep in the CL. Emery is a top manager.

Manchester United Cup 30th October
Heart-Shaped Fox replied to Blueman1967's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Utd are complete rip off merchants. I'm going to the league game and wasn't doing it this anyway being midweek. But I hope hardly anyone goes because of the cost on principle. We desperately need the £30 cap on away tickets to remain going forward or premier league away games would all be this sort of cost and to many it will become unaffordable -
LCFC 2-4 Arsenal - Post Match Thread
Heart-Shaped Fox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I ****ing hate Leicester. Is there anyone team who has so many heartbreaking late goals against them? Feel like I've seen an absolute ton and I'm sick of it Bottlers at the end. Should be seeing that out, don't pick men up from corners properly and pay the price. Id rather have come here and got tonked 3-0 without even being in it. Saves the pain -

You serious?? Did you watch us in the final Vs Italy or against Croatia in the semis? Took the lead then sat back waiting for them to score -
2-2 Palace, A Post Match Thread
Heart-Shaped Fox replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
Cooper tactically looks inept. Couldn't keep the ball all second half so decided to sit back and not try and retain the ball, was like having Southgate in charge. Was crying out for Buonanotte or El K to come on and keep it and pick up cheap fouls. All we did was sit back and allow them to recycle the ball and invite more pressure Cooper cost us the game -
3 games in, 1 point, overall assessment …
Heart-Shaped Fox replied to Nolucklcfc's topic in Leicester City Forum
Start games too slowly. This can't continue, we're constantly playing our best when behind but it's too late. Why Mavididi doesn't start **** knows. Playing Ndidi as a CAM when have just sighed one and got Buonanotte too... baffling Desperately need a striker alternative to Vardy, although he's done ok so far -
Who do you want for next season in the PL
Heart-Shaped Fox replied to Fightforever's topic in Transfer Talk
Surely it cannot be argued that it's criminal we haven't improved up front? Cannon is gone or certainly not rated. Daka crocked. Vardy 37. Where are the goals going to come from?? Ayew down the middle is looking more likely right now, but he's hardly a prolific goalscorer. Just find it baffling really considering money spunked on Skipp -
Find him refreshing and decent in the interviews and press conferences he gives. I would like to know why he doesn't fancy Ricardo. And why he's taken off Buonanotte again, especially when chasing a game. We don't look likely to score many goals this season, look too passive and toothless up front. Desperately we need a striker in. Mavididi or Ayew down the middle isn't the answer

Next England Manager?
Heart-Shaped Fox replied to DJ Barry Hammond's topic in General Football and Sport
Imo there is a difference between saying has to be English or has to have knowledge/experience of England. I wouldn't want someone who has never managed over here tbh. But if got someone like Klopp that's basically someone who is as good as English with his experience of working over here with our players. Id have said the same for Wenger a few years ago too. Will prob be someone in the same mould as Southgate though imo -
England v Switzerland - Saturday 6 July

Southgate is a joke. So reactive instead of proactive. Useless. Kane been usual anonymous
