Match Ratings: Bristol City 1-0 Leicester City - Vote Now
Fox92 replied to Mark's topic in Leicester City Forum
Should’ve scored a hat trick. Not sure how he’s not the lowest rated player. Mads was our best player. -
I left before I had chance to criticise at the final whistle. Couldn’t hack watching them continue to stroll round looking half arsed for the final 5 minutes.
-
Won’t beat these.
-
All this “I will walk” vibes he gave off months ago when talking about getting criticised, I said back then I wasn’t bothered if he walked. Still not bothered. He’s inherited a good squad, good facilities and a good budget. Other teams would love to be able to spend £10m on an ex England international. Any half decent manager would have us top 3 anyway.
-
We will bottle the play offs. This manager and players don’t do big games.
-
Ipswich have then got Norwich.
-
Not sure if anyone seen but Oasis are re-releasing Supersonic as it's 30 years old. I pre-ordered from my local record shop today.

True on both points. When winning it's easy for managers really, you only see how good managers are when they go through a bad spell. See then how they handle it and if they turn it around. Like you, I don't see him putting it right next season either.
-
Top is the owner, it's his responsibility. Can't take credit for good times and then not criticism for bad times. Rudkin is a big issue, with contracts and poor signings, but again that comes back to Top for employing him and sticking with him.
-
If he blows a 17 point lead (or whatever we had), with the biggest resources in the league and one of the best squads in the league, then I don't see how walking away would benefit him.
-
Finally! Done a great job Cook, always going to at that level. I did hear some “Champions” shouts in town!
-
He's just the type of manager that we will never win anything under.
-
Awful take and "a team like Ipswich" is an arrogant statement considering their history. Lots of clubs have gone up and done really well. Brighton, Burnley, Wolves have all enjoyed European Trips in recent years through the league. Why can't Championship clubs now aim for the same? Ipswich have done superb. Not only to score 100+ goals last season, and gain 90+ points, but to continue that. When we won League One then got into the Championship play offs, under Pearson, it was a great achievement and I was excited to be nearing promotion to the Premier League given how long we hadn't been in the top flight. There will be a generation of Ipswich fans that have never seen their team in the top flight.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Fox92 replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I watch less and less of football programmes nowadays, which is a shame as a big football fan, but I can't stand the new type of presenters and "influencers" they have now. BBC 5 Live is much better than anything Sky offer and, on a day when I'm not at a City game, I enjoy listening to Chapman and co on 5 Live. -
I agree with the above points and it would nice to have a say in the league/at the club, and also better travel to games, but Bayern still dominate that league. The odd year we see a Dortmund or, this year, Leverkusen win the league but Bayern end up taking the best players (and maybe this year the best manager too). I'd rather see a more open league.

Losing 3-1 now
-
Chesterfield might finally do it tonight. Fans sounded in good spirits as expected.

You a Dylan fan? Desire is an interesting choice. I like it but would never have it as a "go to", even as a Dylan fan. Hurricane is immense, got to be one of the greatest songs of all time.

Yeah, shame. I've always found Everton fans to be sound as well. -

Didn't realise Adams went up for the funeral. Also I think the guy on the right, the Everton fan in the phone, is the man who raised lots of money the other year. -
All grounds are a rip off regardless of location. All I ever get at away grounds is usually a soft drink and even then they are hiked up compared to outside the ground.
-
A lot of you overrating our players here.
-
I'm sure I recalled they first got promoted and finished about 10th in the Championship.
-
Some of the grounds I've been to this season are far worse than us, yet are always rated better by people online. Sheffield Wednesday as an example. Fvck me I don't think any of their fans even spoke earlier in the season at Hillsborough. Yet Hull were good the other week and they are often regarded as having a bad atmosphere. It's like the "big club" argument. The traditional bigger clubs are always spoke about so highly about positive atmosphere's, if anything it's the other way around. I think I bought into the "Championship fanbases are better than Premier League fanbases" idea but a lot have been horrific. Edit: Also. Not that I'm saying we don't need improvement, of course we do, I just think football needs an improvement full stop. Starting with the prices would be a good start. Using Hull as an example again, their owner has got it bang on. Reducing prices to attract more fans. Fans that want to be there and are there at an affordable price. I wish all clubs were like that.
