Yesterday was great, I enjoyed it the atmosphere.

Yesterday was great. Not just because we won 5-0 but because we played how I spoke about this week in this thread. We were fast with the ball, direct with it, there was nothing slow about anything yesterday. One of our best performances of the season and one of the best games I've been too (not seen us score 5 away from home for a couple years).

Probably waiting for TV picks?

Isn't he just taking the piss out of Swansea and basically saying their goalkeeper was their most dangerous player? That's how I read it anyway.

Swap kop with family stand debate and change priority points system debate will go on forever...

I'm not in great knowledge of our finances. Is this saying we cannot afford to spend £2.5m on a player (even after promotion pay out) ?

Leeds play Southampton last game. Southampton have also got to go to Ipswich and WBA. They're 20 games unbeaten (or whatever it is) but that includes a run of some of the "easier" games. I don't think Southampton will catch us.

Brentford will go down soon, maybe next season, and it will be brilliant. Shut the moaning Thomas Frank up.
-
They spent loads of money, people forget that. I’d prefer him to play somewhere else, especially if we could see or get a loan which leads to a sale.

Anyone see Maddison reaction to Maupay’s celebration? Good grief. A grown man not liking another player do the same celebration.
-
This is why I was surprised to see him linked with Liverpool. He’s done well but had a nice set up from Potter. Have a few poor results that people gloss over.
-
When they last got relegated they were one of the worse sides the PL has ever seen, Wilder was responsible for that even if he left months before they finally went down.
-
Why are people saying he would he be good for them? They're rubbish and he isn't great.

No room for the t shirt cannons!

They do in the area we're in now but I've been in three different parts of Elland Road and the previous two away ends were among the best views.

What was the mess exactly? Aside from the obvious (we'd just been relegated) before those replies start. We all accept this squad shouldn't have gone down last season. A new manager was inheriting a good squad, good facilities and a good budget. There are not many teams in this division who can go out and spend £10m on a Tottenham player. Maresca has done a good job but, seriously, anything less than top 3 would be disappointing. Only Ipswich are overachiving being in the top 4. The gap between Leeds (4th, 57 points) and WBA (5th, 45 points) highlights the quality the three relegated teams have. He has overseen a change in style which I like. I'm not overlooking that btw. In the summer I said Kieran McKenna wouldn't come here and got laughed at, by numerous people, telling me how big were are and how big the budget we would have? Or maybe I'm overlooking it all. As long as we win the League, that's all that matters.

Just the things he says, I feel he comes across as if he will walk if people carry on showing frustration at games. But I think he's got to realise why some people do get frustrated and don't like the sideways and backwards slow passing. Or maybe I've got the wrong end of the stick. I think all managers struggle with fans frustrations regardless of league position. You only have to look at how Pep, Klopp, Mourinho and even Fergie have all questioned their fanbases over time. Sometimes fans do want a bit more and I think that's fine.
-
See, I don't disagree with that and you've summed up what I was trying to get across - passing quicker with more intent and before hand it was more laboured - I'm not taking away the achievement of us being top (nor would I if we won the league) but he's got to understand sometimes it is slow and laboured and that's what frustrates the majority of people, like me. But because it frustrates me doesn't mean I want us to play long ball target man style, I don't, but that's all I'm hit with nowadays as soon as I criticise. Some games I think we've been brilliant without even winning, Ipswich last week as an example. Sometimes we've won and it has been a hard watch, Watford at home as an example the first half was awful that game. Overall we obviously do have to get over the line, we just need to get out of this league!

At times I'd like us to be quicker. I think yesterday was a good example, last 30 mins of the first half, we went backwards a lot (which is okay) but it was all to slow.
