  1. Still a long way to get yet. Big games in particular still worry me.
  2. Unbelievable. So proud of the team last night and to get into the quarter finals. Thought Vestergaard, Coady and Hamza in particular were superb. Yunus also good, just shame about his finishing. Also our goalkeeper, his distribution maybe poor, but he should've stayed here last season as he's btter than Ward and Iversen.
  3. Up the Foxes.
  4. Shouldn't have entered the competition then should we. Believing is what football is about. Do I think we will win the FA Cup? No. Do I want to believe it? Yes. If fans didn't have dreams then football would be dead.
  5. Might do, especially mentally. Of course beating them doesn't mean we're a Premier League team, in fact I think we're far from it, but in Cup games who knows. Anything happens.
  6. Can't believe in throwing a game. Ever. Especially when a win here would see us into the quarter finals, then who knows what might happen (we could end up with Cov!?). Bournemouth was always going to be a tough game but it's pointless if we're going with a reserve team. It would have been a good chance to see where we are as well, considering these are Premier League opponents.
  7. Brentford are awful and will (hopefully) go down soon. Horrid manager and I didn't want him anywhere near us when people kept floating his name about last season as a replacement for Rodgers.
  8. Already got my hotel and everything sorted, but £35 is ridiculous.
  9. in a 40 game season the record is Derby with 89 goals. Sheffield United have 12 games left to play and have conceded 66 goals already. But they have Arsenal at home this weekend, Spurs at home on the last day, and have to go to Anfield, Old Trafford and St James' Park too.
  10. But sold a player for £100m+ to buy him. He’s probably talking about Chelsea more. Spent a billion now (?) and are bang average.
  11. I don’t think I rate any of them now. People speak of Clive Tyldsley but he’s as bad.
  12. He comes out with a lot of rubbish. Can’t decide if he is better than having Martin Tyler doing commentary.
  13. Top players turn up in big moments.
  14. Not really. Most of them just from their academy. Obviously not counting Elliott in that as he was playing for Fulham.

    Daka

Good point. I still wouldn't feel confident in him being played through on goal in a big game though.
  16. Credit to the goalkeeper.
  17. Craig Pawson is one of the worse referee's I've ever seen. I could never stand him in the Premier League and he's no better in the Championship. I knew something dodgy would happen Friday night. Jon Moss wasn't even the worse. People just remembered him for Vardy (and Kasper before that). Friday night being an example. Pawson is worse than Moss ever was.
  18. No, not Chelsea, never.
  19. What a sore loser Dressed like Lampard too.

    Daka

I responded to OP asking if someone was forgiving the player (Vardy) for the miss.

    Daka

It doesn’t define Daka. My point is big moments which is why I feel Vardy would have scored that alone. Of course I’m not claiming Vardy is our best striker anymore, but big players deliver in big moments and that’s what still separates Vardy from the rest. When Daka scores in at least one big game then I will concede. But we’ve QPR next so no doubt Daka will score
  22. Modern day football talk “we would be top if” is so boring. If only we had a league table to see who the best team is At the minute we are top so we are the best team.
  23. Liverpool’s business is excellent selling players. We paid £12m for Ward What a good season you’re having btw. I think much better than most people, including myself, expected. I thought you’d be in a relegation battle. Fair play to O’Neill.
  24. Wilder spent lots of money on rubbish when they were last in the PL. Doesn’t get spoken about enough. They were awful then and one of the worse PL teams I’ve ever seen. Somehow they’re even worse now.

    Daka

Vardy has done more for this club than Daka will ever do. Vardy is also 37 at the end of his career. Absolute no comparison. Vardy was also running in with a defender on his heels against Middlesbrough. Daka had more time, and more time to think on Friday. Vardy would have buried Daka’s chance on Friday, especially with it being at Elland Road, and has been doing that for the past decade in big games. I cannot recall the last time Daka scored in a big game or against another good team.
