It's weird at the time you get hammered for saying we're signing a rubbish player though. I said Skipp was awful and someone told me I was wrong. I guess people want to believe we're improving the squad but, sometimes, it's okay to say this signing is awful.

"Smaller clubs" yeah. It's a nice chance to play at Wembley and win a trophy. A lot of these clubs are never going to win the FA Cup realistically. Although they can take inspiration from clubs such as Wigan.

Yeah I know... Dunno why @foxfanazer found that comment funny... My point was Maddison contributed more than most of our squad (aside from Barnes) so his original post of "you don't want him in the trenches with you" is wrong. We had him in the trenches and he delivered. It was the other shite that let us down. I'm not bothered about him as a person, Maddison, he comes across as child like to me, but his output for the club while he was here was good enough. His last three seasons here he scored 10, 18, 11 in all competitions.

His 10 goals and 9 assists in our relegated side was probably the best output of our whole squad the last time we were relegated.

There seems to be plenty of them now at Chelsea. Not that I’ve seen them often but against us last month they looked awful. I’d hate to go and watch it every week, even more so considering the amount of money spent.

Surprised? Chelsea are awful. I looked at their forum in the week, think they all want Maresca out.

Not playing down our performance as I thought we were the best team for parts of the game, but I expected more from Brighton. They were awful for a team that’s pushing Europe. And proceeded to get booed off Mavididi was running at them directly which was refreshing to see, even if his final choice was often the wrong one. Nothing changes for me though. I still want this manager out.

Only part that worries me is the strike force, think we need someone who will guarantee us at least 15 goals up front, aside from that I'm with you.
