I like Verbruggen but when you get to a shootout you want your keeper to save at least 1.

Awful penalty from Gomez.
-
Atmosphere is awful given the size of the game.

The centre backs plus Gibbs White are the bit of quality they have. Would be interesting to see how the reinvest if any of those were sold.
-
Nobody says they play decent football though. Even in the build up they compared the style of plays. Both centre backs are good though. There’s no pissing about if they need to clear the ball which is refreshing to see nowadays.

Second best to everything. It hasn’t been the best game but Forest have edged it.

What’s the best plan for our squad next season?

Look at the state of those contracts. The likes of Skipp and Mavididi on 4 and 5 years deals. -
Probably be delayed though. They only announced the week before amendments on Tuesday and that should have been last Friday!
-
I missed this! Be playing Shrewsbury next season then I'm guessing closer to his home considering he managed Wycombe and QPR previously.
-
Pretty sure it's not the first time it's happened this season too. Not that I went but I recall West Ham being moved just a few days after ticket sales.

What’s the best plan for our squad next season?

Totally. I don't think people realise how bad the quality is. Granted, clubs around the bottom have no money and it's tough because sides like us get relegated with huge budgets but you look at Sheffield United who are going for promotion and they're far from outstanding. -

Need a rebuild but also need a manager to do it. We were lucky before that Pearson was the type of manager to clear out and build. We need a manager like that.- 70 replies

LCFC Men Season Tickets: Price Freeze & Safe Standing Confirmed
Fox92 replied to jammie82uk's topic in Leicester City Forum
I know several match going Leeds fans that are pissed off about the club. Leeds seem to be a good example of exploiting loyalty. Wasn't that long ago they never used to open the top tier, the club seem to have forgotten that. -
Vardy scored 15 league goals (17 overall) in 21/22, the season prior to us getting relegated. If Rodgers wouldn't have played Vardy, or sold him, going into 22/23 and we still went down people would have blamed it on a lack of Vardy goals. No team or manager would ditch a striker that had scored 23, 15, 15 in three consecutive seasons. I have always said this club is to loyal and now we're at a point where we have a 38 year old up top. No other club would have that. But at the end of the day Daka was brought in, for a stupidly high fee, and has proved to be nowhere near the level of Vardy.
-
Lets be honest, Rodgers was right to always want Vardy at the club. It was under Brendan Rodgers that Vardy won his only top flight golden boot and was consistently scored at least 15 goals. Rodgers would have been stupid to gloss over a striker as good as Vardy.

I did vote "haven't decided yet" on the poll which is where I currently stand.

I'm in my 30's ("young guard"?) and seen good times and bad times. I think some people seem to forget our lowest point, relegation to the third tier for the first time, was only in 2008.

I think this is an issue. Most of the biggest/busiest airports have better rail links, including Birmingham. East Midlands Parkway is ages away. Not in terms of miles but then you've got to get a bus and people don't want to do that. Getting off a train and being right at the airport is easier.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Fox92 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Sorry but West Ham hit the woodwork against us and Coady literally cleared one off the line. They should have scored more than 1. Even his only two lucky wins have been lucky as fvck. Nice win over Spurs' B team. Not that I care now. He has proven to be one of the worse managers we've ever had. -
It might not be like our 16/17 season either. Way to early to say yet. And tbf to Nuno he sustained Wolves top 7 for two consecutive seasons. Also, a couple months left yet this season and it's quite close at the top so anything could happen but if Forest get top 4 that would be remarkable considering how hard it is to finish in there and even more so on the back of last season where they were in a relegation battle.

I don't go on twitter anymore but they did used to post On This Day or ex players / managers birthdays. Not sure if they still do that.

These grounds were/are the best. New grounds now are moving away from communities and into larger/open areas. I am to young to have experienced the Baseball Ground but I know from having been to the likes of Upton Park and Goodison Park how different it is going to those grounds than going to a place like the Emirates. Grounds surrounded by housing communities are my favourite. Seems to be more identity with those sort of grounds. I can only imagine in derby games how intense it was.

Hull City away, 2007-08.

What strengths? I've never seen them. He has only ever looked good for us when we were in the second tier.

I like Smith and to be honest he has had a decent career in this country. Shouldn't be managing over there.
