An example of what we have to contend with where ITKs are concerned. Think you can only call yourself one if you have an actual "source" close enough to club, to enable you to publish transfer-related news before it becomes common knowledge. Prefer the ignorance is bliss ideology, until it is confirmed by someone directly associated with the club like Rob Tanner, publishers such as the Leicester Mercury, or the actual club itself. But this is the topic for the Twittersphere, so posts like the images attached are always going to come to the surface.

I admit I'm not very savvy when it comes to digging out the rumours and finding accurate info, so spare me if I say something out of turn or just plain stupid. But pages like Indy Kalia and LCFC HQ are notorious for reposting old news, or reshaping it so it becomes vaguely relevant to any of today's transfer activity. That's how those sort of ITKs survive. SeanfromEnderby with his self-titled #NeverWrong reputation is another one, whether he is a legitimate ITK (he said he got a call from his "source" this evening on the Twittersphere) remains to be seen. Whereas people hang onto words from John Percy's Telegraph posts as these seem to have more of an official look to them. More definitive. Unlike your SSN speculative entries where they "understand" according to their sources, which are more wrong than not these days. Suppose an ITK is just built on a positive, accurate reputation, but doesn't take themselves too seriously either. @LinekersApples was clearly one that was more respected on here than not.

Messaged him directly asking about latest transfer wheelings and dealings. Responded with the latest info and also said that wouldn't be posting here again, apparently needs to check the legitimacy of his source. But needn't have, seems to be one of the more reliable posters/ITKs.

He's made it clear that he won't be posting on here for some time and it's a shame. ITKs won't get it right all the time, but surely have some sort of credibility to be labelled an ITK in the first place (unless they just regurgitate old news from other sources).

See, that's what I thought until I made the mistake of looking at an article on the Leicester Mercury website. I'm still not sure, but suppose it will be disclosed when he is unveiled as the new signing.

Seeing as everyone is so sure that this is done, I'm going to be the one to be difficult and ask the question. Is this a loan with an option to buy, or is this a permanent deal? I hear so much conflicting information from a wide variety of sources, and regardless of them all generally saying it's a matter of when rather than if, I'd like more specific/official details of the nature of the deal. Anyone like to clarify this for me?

Think this is our only option if we were ever going to consider stealing Ake away from Bournemouth. That or possibly look at Lascelles. The market is ridiculous, partially thanks to us now, but there are other options out there as well. Not just in the Premier League.

This. Harry wanted to go. We did the right thing by not standing in his way but still getting top dollar for him, knowing full well he was worth about half what United paid. However, strongly think we do need a replacement but think with three days left, it's asking a bit much to find some of equal ability or better, without the risk of overspending.
