  1. Everything about yesterday utterly honked. I've seen us get tanked at home by Premier League stalwarts like Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal. But with no disrespect, this is Oxford, and fornthat reason, this one is the worst home defeat I've seen in my 15 years of being a STH. An ageing keeper that cannot do basic passing or commanding his own area. Thanks to Jakub's injury, and Bausor is out on loan, McCarthy is all we have. Joseph (and MacFarlane, giving him benefit of the doubt) aside, the defence gives me zero confidence. Souttar didn't look interested, almost sulking because he didn't get his move. Attacking-wise, Burns and Reid offered zero attacking threat. The latter is constantly picked by Brussell which absolutely boggles the mind, doesn't even look League One level. Cullen didn't play yesterday but he offers little threat. No wonder clubs from higher levels were happy to let them go. And lastly we have a manager with such abysmal tactics that any team can easily counter against, and a more inexperienced Ramsey completely outsmarted Brussell. These are dark times. Without doubt the worst in our history, and it could well get worse. I wish I could sit here and type how we get out of this mess, but even I don't have a clue with the squad we have, nor can we surely afford to sack RM and his staff without costing ourselves millions that we don't have. It's never dull, is it?
  2. Terrible. Lethargic, passive, slow, going through the motions. Hope they don't drag the younger players down with them.
  3. The coward had the nerve to high-tail it down the tunnel at full-time and leave his relatively young squad to walk round the pitch to applaud the fans who stayed to the end. Abysmal manager. Sadly there were still those that clapped despite their humiliation. Boggles the mind.
  4. It's a very lightweight squad, they all need to head to the gym to toughen up. Oxford bossed us physically.
  5. Re-entering administration is becoming a real possibility, and could shunt us to another relegation. We just finding new lows when we have already had our fill. Oxford couldn't have wished for a better away day. Club needs to be sold or the only way is down.
  6. He needs his own countdown for when he leaves like we did for Ayew. Another one stealing wages.
  7. No idea why we keep playing Bobby. Absolute bob. Burns having a stinker, not sure what he brings at all. In summary, we have nothing on the right other than JJ.
  8. Factoring in how much he cost, financial pound-for-pound, he is definitely up there with one of the worst to wear LCFC colours. £20m squandered, wasted, splurged, frittered away. Can still hear Spurs laughing all the way to the bank.
  9. Probably not. They made that one good decision rejecting Manchester United when they came sniffing after Page. That's their allocation for the year all used up. Incompetence has resumed, and Faes staying is proof enough.
  10. Afraid not! We had Callum Doyle on loan from Manchester City, a couple of years back.
  11. We're stuck with this ingrate aren't we?
  12. Oh well... Got to get behind him and maybe he will push Bristric.
  13. Know full well they will just loan him out if they did get hold of him. Like Man City are doing to Monga. Page is better off here in terms of game time and experience.
  14. Says the one clearly offended by my post, hypocrisy at its finest! And yes, abysmal. 1 goal in 5 at Championship level is bargain basement striker quality. Deal with it.
  15. Great stuff, should get a small fee too, can they take Mavididi as well?
  16. For goodness sake. We just got rid of two useless forwards and instantly look at another one with an abysmal goalscoring record. If this is true, we really don't learn, do we?
  17. Best news I've had all day. But still, 21 years too long. Now he can go drink-drive somewhere else!
  18. Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, I would say the highest form of intelligence but your response definitely wasn't.
  19. There really isn't much point, but by all means have a go!
  20. I read an article and it touched on the booing thing. People are either booing the current squad and manager, or they are booing the current demise where the club in its entirety finds it itself. With regards to the current on-pitch set up, booing isn't helping and we should get behind them because we have no choice on the matter other than simply not turn up to matchdays. However, to boo those who put us in this position, let them have it. They are responsible for the slide and they should knownhow we feel.
  21. I've heard words like these way too many times, only to end in abject failure.
  22. Hello, League One relegation zone. Lack of goals is costing us big time.
  23. Wimbledon and Wigan play each other tomorrow, could drop into the bottom four if either one wins as things stand. Early days I know but its a sign if what we need, an actual goalscorer.
  24. Where is the cutting edge? Yes we didn't lose, but the first league win wait goes on. Need to find our feet quickly. And get BDCR out of the side. Waste of space, time and money.
  25. RM needs to stop giving me hope like this. Just needs to add Luke Thomas to that list.
