People pressing the panic button already? We are sitting in Top 4 (I know, we are only three games in but stats don't lie) and we have progressed to the next round. If we were in Watford's position and were knocked out tonight then I'd have reason for worry. Give the lads time, we have seen them at their scintillating best during that second half against Chelsea, so we know they are capable of such brilliance. May not be pretty but as long as we keep producing the goods, then who cares. It will only get better the more the players adapt to the system, because this is easily the best set of players I have seen at Leicester, probably ever. Chill out.

His dejected demeanour just proved how much he cared about the result and regardless that he scored the equaliser, he was still trying not to think about his contribution towards Chelsea's early goal. This club obviously means a lot to him and that's great to see. Just got to put it behind him and learn from the experience, and look to the next game against the Blades. Just the attitude we look for in a player. Rodgers will for sure be focusing on getting his chin up quickly so he doesn't lose his confidence on the ball.

N'didi is generally making me very nervous, especially when he's supposed to be protecting the back four.

Whilst I am a little optimistic that the transfer ban, plus a manager with only Championship experience and losing a couple of big players, will all have an effect in varying degrees, Chelsea should be strong enough for Top 6. Just may be a tough couple of months ahead for them. Think Arsenal are the ones to potentially try to catch, maybe even Manchester United. It's going to be a case of pushing them all the way whilst keeping Everton, Wolves, West Ham and Watford at bay. If our young squad can hit the ground running despite today's somewhat-blunt showing, we have a very good chance of breaking the Top 6.

We did go through a noticeably long period without posing any threat from corners/set-pieces. There was even a growing chant emerging at the time to highlight this... The arrival of the imposing figure of Harry Maguire put this to bed for a season or two. That sort of presence in both boxes will be missed. But hopefully not too much.

And his reaction to regular bench time is getting angry, is he even mature enough for professional football? Two years, and three managers later, has Gray succeeded in cementing his place in the matchday squad? No. Figures do not lie and DG knows he needs to up his game, his exclusion from the team/bench today highlighted this further. Brendan has been in the management game long enough, and he is no fool. General consensus on here suggests that this could well be his last season unless he buck his ideas up and improves his performances.

How do we all think Demarai Gray will respond to today's omission? Post-match comments from Brendan Rodgers suggested that he had a conversation with DG prior to announcing the line-up. Stringer and Matt Piper were both in unison that he needs to generally up his overall game in the final third. But he has been known to spit his dummy out when he doesn't get the game time, will he do it again?

In between for now. It is getting quicker at making decisions and will take some getting used to. Am sure it will pin us back with a disallowed goal at some point or another, but it's nice knowing that it is there. Was at the opposite end but it looked like a perfectly good goal and no-one around me appealed for handball against Boly, and to be fair it had been coming after Wolves came flying out of the blocks in the second half.

Passed the first test against dangerous opposition. Bailed out Ben Chilwell on a couple of occasions. There will be tougher tests to come but a solid performance and a clean sheet against Wolves is an excellent way to start. Well done Caglar.

Not a classic from an attacking perspective. Got our fair share of the decisions, which I don't say often. Seriously need to work on all forms of our set-pieces and decision making in the final third, especially Maddison who had a stinker. Says a lot when the biggest cheer of the afternoon comes either a piece of defensive magic by Wilfred Ndidi or the VAR decision disallowing Wolves' goal that had been coming. All that said, relatively solid and Caglar passed his first test convincingly, kept Raul Jimenez relatively quiet. A point against a very good Wolves side and onto the next game. Better than a loss so we can all keep calm for now!

Tbh, Chris Sutton's general opinion on anything is embarrassing. Gets a kick out of being controversial and outspoken. But no-one really takes him seriously. It's topic like this that give him reason to keep on talking. Cut off the supply and he'll thankfully fade into obscurity.

I'd have to give this transfer window a B+. Maybe a B taking into account that we still have several players who are essentially surplus to requirements but no-one is taking them. Can see King and James just seeing out their contracts before leaving on frees, and Slimani, Silva and Diabate being bought at cut-rate prices. It is the last chance saloon for a couple of players like Demarai Gray and Kelechi Iheanacho otherwise they may well be moved on next year. The squad badly needs trimming but there is still time for lower-league/overseas clubs to nick a player or two.
