  1. Didn’t he actually admit deciding to make decisions to suit a particular game which went against the rules? Anthony Taylor regularly does Manchester teams when no doubt he knows City and United fans ?
  2. Their fans don’t seem too disappointed.
  3. That isn’t going to change anything . We’d all heard them before and really aren’t the decisions subjective (even if “wrong”)?
  4. Just pointed the issue out apparently.. Well obviously no one cared or took it on board.
  5. They say VAR brings more accurate decisions but that probably includes the offsides we saw at Wembley or penalties given for handball that people are saying have been harsh. It’s never going to get everything “right “ as most decisions are subjective. If that is what people expected out of VAR then they were mistaken and should have been told so at start rather than being promised it would clear things up and there would be nothing go to debate . TBH the main issue for fans seems to be how slow the system is and the lack of communication more than anything else.
  6. Don't think clear and obvious applies to offside though? Of course this is coming next season to the Premier league.
  7. Ref watch reckoned that 3nd incident was , the handball maybe (apparently in Scotland they always get given? .) and the first one probably not. Should a ref be in charge of games involving rival clubs of the team they support as we have had these two a lot over the years ?
  8. Probably would be and no one would feel sorry for them . Like when the penalty was given - not too many complaints.
  9. They'll get a decision their wat next week and whoever they are playing will be up in arms saying it's because of this statement. Yes Forest got hard done by but part of this is to put pressure on the officials like Man U and the like used to do.
  10. Reviews wouldn’t mean you get the “right decisions “ unless used for factual incidents as the ref might still go against them which won’t go down well . In cricket and rugby the final decisions are accepted - unfortunately don’t think they would be in football . Mind you Forest were hard done by and I do think they have to be careful on who officiates the games.
  11. Did he lose by chance ?!
  12. He’ll probably just say well we have had bad decisions too . So really VAR isn’t the perfect system people expected then They made subjective decisions based on what see beforehand which people didn’t like and now we have more doing the same putting pressure on the original official which has probably made things worse .. Should just be used for factual decisions and they ought to have used automated offside from the start to prevent delays .
  13. But would teams accept their appeal being rejected if they really thought it a foul etc ? Still be relying on the subjective view of the ref and VAR. And what if something is missed that gets brought up after the game that teams might have appealed .
  14. Trouble is every decision is subjective and next week they probably all get given by someone else . Would it really make much difference though ? Cannot change anything.
  15. Rotten luck for Coventry . Man U fortunate .
  16. Argh . Just about sadly
  17. Yes very true . As a general point they are right but only seem to do it when things go against them I mean do Everton care ?
  18. Wow! Well done Coventry. Think that was handball even if Dixon didn't.
  19. Were they really outrageous decisions then or just ones that get given by one ref one week but not another the next? VAR makes that worse of course because you could have 4 different points of views. Should Chelsea start asking questions about yesterday.
  20. Good point. Stuart Atwell has done our games too so surely isn’t right ?
  21. Suspect there will be a few words said at Moyes from the WH fans.
  22. Big win for Everton but Forest will definitely feel aggrieved.
  23. They probably don’t like them playing at the Athletics stadium.
  24. Wonder how many anti PL songs there will be at Everton!?
  25. Seemed to be all about the tyres. Well done to Norris and good recoveries by Alonso after Aston Martin messed up and Hamilton to an extent but they are very poor. Stroll a waste of space again.
