Just watched it back and I'm still falling on the same side that he's incredibly unlucky to see red there. The ball is there to go for but the French player manages to nick in before him. They love slowing it down and freezing the frame as if the guy has done it on purpose. I'm sure in their mind they probably think the Gibraltar player planned to do exactly that and it was pre-meditated.

Who do you reckon was gonna come on and get the better of Isiah Jones who was in immense form defensively? Bear in mind Kasey did absolutely nothing and actually had a net negative effect on the team so had to come off for Fatawu.

I like Mavididi, technique is very hit and miss but someone who is capable of beating a man. Unfortunate not to have an assist at the weekend. Would expect him to be a back up in the prem.

De Zerbi literally says "the red card is right" Most prem refs are are awful, arrogant knobs so its not great shock they're dislikeable.

My concerns aren't really for this season, we've proven we can Man U our way through most games and win due our far superior quality. My concern is next season, its hard not to see us experiencing a season like Burnley with how toothless we are in the final 3rd and the chances we offer up to the opposition. This is why I want to see convincing performances and results, to show me that were not going to be an easy 3 points next season. Still very early so im not making any judgements, but I feel comfortable being concerned at the levels were currently showing, relative to the quality of our squad. Nice run of fixtures coming up so would be good to see the performance levels rise between now and Christmas.

Best part of the game was definitely the boro commentary team. Funny, fairly on the ball and agreed with pretty much everything they said. It is interesting hearing the oppositions thoughts

Work needed over the international break. Bearing in mind the quality we have compared to teams were playing, were barely troubling most teams. All you need to do is work hard and have somewhat decent shape and we've got no answer to it.

Very fortunate not to be 2-0 down. Hopefully see some shoots of a team trying to actively score goals rather than pass the ball around in their own half. Ive seen us do it this season, I know its there!

McAteer has been massively overrated because of the purple patch in front of goal. Can only assume Fatawu isn't fully fit. Not an awful first half, but its very boring watching us on the ball. 3 games ive watched now and we've not been particularly good in any of them.

For a big lump were making this Coburn look like messi haha Fatawu for McAteer half time. Cannon for Nacho would be tempting as well.
