  1. Ive been one of Kelechi's biggest advocates but its plain to see his head isn't with us anymore. If it was he would be absolutely killing it at this level.
  2. He'd be a decent squad option in the prem for sure. His pace and directness are a real asset and would be at any level. His inconsistency will be further highlighted in the prem and thats where you'd likely see him become a a squad option rather than regular starter. Would have killed for someone like him in the squad last season
  3. Indeed it is, its also the reason for his incredibly high passing stats that people are using as an example of him being Maldini in disguise. Makes sense for him to move, im slightly concerned we will lob a massive contract at him. It easy to forget we've not made changes behind the scenes while things are going so well. Although Hamza somehow getting a 4 year contract was a small reminder haha
  4. You'd be forgiven for thinking that Casadei was the one that had been playing for 90 minutes and Morsey just on the pitch. Got past him with far too much ease. I wouldn't be shocked if he to see him move back to Italy next season. In his 2nd championship loan and not pulled up trees at us or Reading. Still think he's likely excelled so much at youth level due to his size compared to his peers. Seems like a decent lad and I can't knock his effort but he just seems too slow to me, both moving and with the ball.
  5. Im baffled at the lack of rotation actually. Earlier in the season when it was totally unnecessary he was making a point of how important rotation is. Now were at the point where rotation is important he has fallen into the trap of sticking with his trusted eleven.
  6. Fair play to anyone that reckons premier league teams are gonna let Vesty walk to the half way line with the ball and essentially do passing drills with his team mates. I'd also love to be so delusional. That ball that led to KDH being brought down in the box was phenomenal. I can see Burnley signing him in the summer if they stick with Kompany when they go down. Massive weapon for any team that will look to dominate the ball at this level. Maybe we can have him on a dual registration and keep swapping him when we keep passing each other
  7. If youre struggling to sleep. Watch the "highlights" from the barwell v coalville game. If they manage to find any.
  8. Genuinely don't blame the ref or lino for not seeing it as a clear pen to be fair. From their position in real time, you can easily make a case for it being a coming together.
  9. Its that old classic problem of professional footballers not knowing they can play through balls in behind the oppo defence. Im glad they picked it up after 6 months though :p
  10. Nah you've interpreted it wrong. Maybe not seen the right angle, but there's one or two where you can see the Ipswich player literally just plays KDH and has no intention of going for the ball
  11. The lad is class. Doing what he's asked to do. Look forward to seeing him develop into a clas Premier League keeper with us.
  12. Genuinely can't wait to see how he does when we're facing better/equal teams Kind of weird atm, cus for all the rimming, hes getting the best team to beat other teams. Which id expect Brendan rodgers or Ian Holloway to manage. He seems like a class bloke and seems switched on so im hoping we dont see the pathetic stuff that Kompany is serving up with Burnley I do love reading peoples descriptions of how the best team in the league is playing the most dominant football though.
  13. Barely looked arsed about the game and it was comfortable. Were simply well above this league and its just a case of getting through the games and putting in at least 50% effort Be shocked if Ipswich finish top 2 now. They've looked embarrassingly toothless against us and Leeds. If they go up they'll smash derby's record. Fair to McKenna, the stuff he's got that squad doing is sensational. He's gonna do well for himself.
  14. Players and managers letting an injured player turn a small tear into a bigger one. Proper Rodgers stuff. Done them a favour probably, hes proper gash
  15. Swear I'm the only person that saw Sterling dive The man's already falling when the wolves player touches him. Funnily enough he probably had a chance at winning a pen had he not prematurely chucked himself to the ground
  16. Didn't expect to open this thread and see Anstey Nomads get so many shout outs.
  17. Just have a franchise competition, it's so easy. It stops clubs being ripped out of communities and the old men in suits get to have their little souless play things that'll sell millions because the younger generations mainly care about supporting players rather than clubs.
  18. I hope so! On paper it makes sense for all parties. I guess Kel is 27 now and not shown any desire to be a starter so he actually probably doesn't mind spending his prime years behind Oli Watkins. Youri actually looked fit and mobile against Man City, so maybe Emery is the man to get Nacho going.
  19. I'd be well up for this. Unfortunately I'm not sure Kelechi or Villa would be.
  20. Eh? He's made 2 sub appearance in the league and played 85+ mins in their other 14 league games. Doesn't suggest he's not good enough for them. On the right deal I think he'd be a tidy addition to the squad. I wouldn't break the bank for him or offer him whatever he wants, but if he'd be willing to come and the deal was right for us then he'd be a solid option in one of the 2 8 positions.
  21. Oh yeah, I wouldn't drop him. Just he looked noticeably poor. If you dropped players whenever they look off it you'd be constantly changing the team. Given he's out most valuable striker, its in our interest to get him firing for ourselves or for his market value
  22. Just read that back and I sound drunk. Too busy concentrating on this Newcastle game honest
  23. Youre probably right given the complete inability of the bottom 3 to pick up points. Any other season he would probably be taking them down, but youre probably right on this one. Either way, id hate yo be a forest fan and subjected to that.
  24. Id be shocked. The blokes dull as hell and even then struggles to pick up decent results. Unless he's being allowed to game the system. I rate they'll struggle to score and just end up losing a load of games 1 or 2-0. Wouldn't be shocked to see him not even see the season through
  25. If they're genuinely injured then 2 minutes on the sideline where they can be treated won't be an issue.
