On reflection, bit of a mad point this, given Ruud only has an extra half seasons experience than him with essentially the same managerial record
-
I think the only thing saving us from a mauling will be them playing a tough game Sunday.... if they were out the cup and had a whole weekend for their internationals to recover, we'd be looking at double figures
-
Heitinga is one I mentioned post Maresca, didn't bring him into the picture post Cooper as he'd moved to be with Slot. He's an interesting one because he was interim manager at Ajax during their absolute basket case phase and ended up with an incredible record. They went from fans rioting to settled down and winning nearly every week during his time there. I thought the move to West Ham was weird but guess it was just the Moyes connection at the time. Also like the fact he's a defender, so yes he'll probably come with pretty standard dutch approach, but you'd like to think he'd know how to organise a defence.... he's a hard bastard too!

What’s the best plan for our squad next season?
AjcW replied to Haywood_6's topic in Leicester City Forum
Think he'll go to Como personally, seems written for him especially with all the visits there and the Dennis Wise connection -
He’d be a brilliant shout. Actually think the reason he’s there though is because Chelsea are developing him for them. So it could be another case of having him for a season or two and then off he goes

Pretty please

The Head of Content/Brand mentioned above

If my LinkedIn profile views are anything to go by it would appear I’ve “poked the bear” 🙈😆

100%, barely any previous industry experience, zero diversity, zero new ideas/hires from GenZ who are in the most part the ones consuming the content! Also, and believe me I don't place massive importance on this when I recruit, but between all of them at a senior/mid senior level, there's not a single one with any form of higher ed, whether that be an apprenticeship, a degree, even a course from a relevent body such as CIM. Nothing! The reason none of them have left is because they'd find it hard to get another job. I actually had to check my research 4 or 5 times as I genuinely couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Lets play a game of... Is it a Managerial record or the name of a small town in the valleys

I think spray and prey has deffo worked in the past. But certainly being flipped on its head now, especially by META (probably why we post slightly less on Insta)

As someone in the industry, that's not true. Long term their results would improve ten fold if they posted once a day* rather than fifteen times. It's trickier for football clubs than other industries, we'd probably all think the club was folding if they went a day without posting.... but they could massively cut down and significantly improve engagement. The algorithms now are based on engagement per post and ours is shocking because some of the posts are dreadful. One great post a day would see engagement and growth shoot up. Matchdays being an exception of course*

I posted this in the Faes thread but to be honest I was close to starting my own thread with it. This.... this is the problem.... as it is throughout the club. Their leader is another to add to the "been here forever, jobs a piece of piss" crew..... Just to add to this the rest of the team.... Marketing manager has been there 10 years Brand Manager has never been a brand manager before Marketing exec has been there for 7 years with zero desire to progress. Head of Media... 13 years in role Head of Content/Brand.... 17 years at the club Content Manager.... 10 years at the club It's absolutely hillarious. No chance to progress, no desire to progress, no fresh ideas whatsoever. The 'newest' employee has still been there longer than tiktok has even existed. Comfortable FC

Not to go after a 14 year old goalkeeper but what in the Danny Ward is going on there?!? -
I knew that....
-
It's simple no? Andersen and Maele next to him Hjulmand and Norgaard in front of him Kasper behind him A LOT of footballers are only as good as the players around them, especially confidence players.

Will you go to any more matches this season?
AjcW replied to hejammy's topic in Leicester City Forum
There's currently 155 tickets left for our U21 game at seagrave on the same night as the Newcastle game. If people are giving up this season, get down there, make a fuss over the future talent, hell even use it as a place to protest/sing songs about how you'd rather be there than at the KP. Just a thought... -
Any particular reason for a lack of friendlies or University games this season?
-
Probably having an amazing time though, grown up family etc so probably the best time to do it! I'm sure he'll be back one day. Got Fuchs as his AM at the minute too. Looking at our managerial records this season, 9 points from 8 games would be lovely

England doctors will have looked at recent issues and panicked, he should never have been called up this soon anyway. If he's injured while away the FA foot the bill so they'll be playing it safe
