Is it just me or does 4 months out with a Hamstring tear not immediately scream "Jump on the first plane out of here and walk around a cold city"? Also anyone who has done it before, is that not a rest up and use crutches type situation? The other bit I found odd was in the pre match conference, absolutely nothing on either injury and then matchday comes and they're both out for a while. That's one hell of an unlucky Saturday training session....

The most annoying bit is this is the timing that makes the most sense, and other clubs will act during this period. The reason we need to make a change during the international break is because we have no club coaches, so making a change when there's time for the players to have an extended break and get someone new in makes sense. Instead what we will do is panic in December, have the U21 manager in charge for a couple of games (he himself is new into that role!) and have to panic into a quick appointment that ultimately will need revisiting again in the summer.

I was thinking back this morning on recent managers and at one time or another i've absolutely wanted all of them gone.... but they also all had their plus points/likeable moments. I've not experienced that yet with Cooper, it's been off from the outset and gone downhill since. I think back to Puel, yes it was dull as dishwater, but we were solid and the signings were ****ing superb. (often noted he had a big role to play in a lot of them) Brendan, ego maniac narcasist... but the best football we've ever played at times, and a trophy. Enzo, only had one plan but it was a joy to watch at times and he made sure every single player on the pitch knew what they were doing. If they're not going to get rid yet, I wonder if there's some way of persuading him to get someone in on the coaching side of things that can play a more senior role. To be honest the club should be doing this anyway as we no longer have a 'club coach' and every time a manager leaves we're left with no one!

Impressed with Fulham again this season, some smart signings and Marco Silva doing well. Look to have really settled down last couple of games and have a nice run coming up.

I imagine they probably see more value in him playing against Northampton and Notts County, over this extra league cup fixture. He’ll probably be with the squad this weekend though (not the named squad) as he does all his training with the first team.

Think Duff has been well respected for a few years now in various coaching roles. Wouldn't be surprised to see him doing well in the Championship. He went on a rant about English clubs underestimating the quality in Ireland, by that note I'd expect him to bring a few players over! Oh... and he's aged like Milk...

Bottom line... if the country can't get on with anyone, then the football stays in the country. I'm sure the yanks would have them...

But what is the difference between them and the Russian sides? If you're saying you shouldn't be banned for political reasons, that could mean a petty squabble... not acitve war! The country they're from is actively at war and actively taking lives. How is that different to the Russian teams? They should have been out the second the conflict started. I'd also still stand by the fact they shouldn't just be allowed to play in European competitions because they've not got round to going to war with anyone in Europe.... YET

Free entry which I assume Cov are footing the bill for.... decent.... still we charge £3 to sit at a training ground I'm not suggesting they make the entire season free... but could definitely make games around half term and the ones pre christmas free at least.

Can't really understand why everyone has gone so high. Collectively one of the worst starts to a season from a bottom 4/5 teams. Two teams haven't even registered a win yet. Quality across the league has been pretty poor too, even towards the top. Last season 27 points would have been enough to survive.... TWENTY SEVEN. How on earth are people getting to 38?
