Chelsea (H) 23rd November - Pre-match Thread

So even the Premier League are actively promoting BC Game now jesus christ. -
There's a big difference between "Favourable ownership" sponsorship which is reasonably transparent in that it's obvious a clubs owner has investment in a company that will sponsor there team.... and what we (may) have done which is use a front to launder our owners money into our club....
-
I think the club knew exactly what they were doing and £40m worth of KP funds have been conveniently funneled through about 8 different holding companies and into our club accounts. I'm not sure where this latest update stands in the 'plan' but I wouldn't be surprised if, for example, we now pull them from our shirts with KP going back on and £20m more being added to our accounts in time for January.

In case anyone missed it earlier in the thread… this is where my investigation took me in the summer… (copied and pasted from a LinkedIn post, excuse the formatting). Essentially it’s near impossible to know if the Curacao thing is important… as the company itself is a tangled web of lies and fake profiles. Edit* Just to add, the current listed owner/CEO on their website is an American man called Chris Butler. Not a lot of info available on him.... _________ Part 1: Ahh yes, the wonderful “BC Games”. Apparently owned by a company in Malta called Media Games Malta. On the list of dodgy leaks from the Paradise papers (Curacao) Fronted by a “Raymond Busuttil” whose registered address is a tiny bookmakers on a random street in Malta. Now usually that means BC got their gaming licence in Malta like many others. However the Maltese gambling authorities quickly distanced themselves from BC. BC themselves now state their European gaming licence is from the Isle of Man with a registered address in Curaçao and a gambling licence there also. Theyre also well known to be “VPN friendly” and not big on ID. Basically means anyone in the UK can use their services with a good VPN… even children! Another big thumbs up their for my club 🙈 Part 2 - In Curacao they were owned by a company called “BlockDance BV” whose managing director appears to be a 29 year old Turkish man called Umut Tuncel who doesn’t appear to have any digital footprint… all perfectly normal… According to a recent article they were bought by “Small House BV”…. Since the day of the takeover, it appears none of their players have won any money and most online forums are calling the company a scam/fraud website who are buying fake reviews on trustpilot (where they have now been banned!!) YESTERDAY… yes yesterday.. when you announced this sham deal, the Swedish gambling authority banned Small House in Sweden for allowing Swedish residents to play without having a licence to trade in their country. Oh… and "Small House" are owned by IGA Group through “IGA Fund” in Caracao, which brings us back to Malta, they're Malta's 'Most reliable Igaming consultancy firm' not to mention their dealings with tax avoidance. Sound guys, nice work. All perfectly legal… Funny.... no one at IGA Group - iGamingAdvisors have mentioned this wonderful deal. Strange given they're your 'owners'

U21's playing tomorrow nigth so we will get a good idea of who might be drafted in. Probably space for a couple on the bench! -
So we currently have one fit player filling up the entirety of our right hand side, and he's absolutely hopeless

Pretty sure @Miquel The Work Geordie 1 year old could do a better job on punctuation than this, once she stops crying.

Also… “get it open on a Wednesday , the most famous of retail days”

Yeah I went last weekend before I suggested the idea; didn’t have a scooby

If you do go to Curacao can you send us a picture of BC Game's *cough* "OFFICE" *cough* -
Northern Thailand.... Shop our brand new Northern Life collection. Crafted in the Chiang Rai village community in Nan Province, northern Thailand.
-
FAB Event One takeaway: "We really want to connect more with the local community" Idea: "How about creating a clothing collection for the clubs 140th anniversery that celebrates all that's great about Leicester and it's rich history in textiles and clothing manufacturing?" LCFC Board: "..... THE LOCAL THAI COMMUNITY YOU CRETIN!!!!!!"
-
I note that all of this shite is labelled "CSR project" along with the other thai collections. Do the club do any CSR in Leicestershire? Apart from chuck money at the LRI whenever things get a bet sketchy?
-
I read it as "Northern Wild Nan Thailand" and was deeply concerned someone had accessed my search history....

Random musings but i've said a few times in this thread i'm worried that we no longer have a "Club coach" who isn't attached to the manager. I've realised Ben Dawson who joined from Newcastle is that person, he has no ties or links to Cooper in the past. He's also been a technical director at Newcastle in the past, so would have the experience of bringing in staff and transitioning in new coaching/management teams. Felt it was important to bring up!

I mean it was a bit tongue in cheek, but it was a grey Sunday morning and everywhere looked rather depressing, first time i've been back into the city in a long time. When you're looking for quick, easy, time consuming things to do with a toddler, something like what i've mentioned above would be great. Like I say though i've not been back in ages and despite doing loads of research the evening before, a lot of things for that age range are either closed for the season/redevlopment or just full on shut down.
-
It's primary purpose shouldn't be that. I took my 3 year old into Leicester last weekend (we live in Nottingham), there's just absolutely nothing to do, it was depressing, we went up to New Walk but barely anything in there anymore, in and out in half an hour. The shop could be super interactive, it could have one of those penalty walls, it could have a mini museum, little foxes themed soft play for really little ones, get a local cafe to pop up in there. Run activities during the week such as crafting, parent clubs etc etc. Actually make it the 'community hub' they talk about. And... if you're in the area and you want a ticket or you've got an enquiry, that's possible too.

He’s been one who has transformed most under Slot. Having a superb season.

That riverside stand has been an odd idea. Essentially made it 100% corporate. Looks empty most weeks.
