  1. Ahh missed that. Typical U21 goes from one or two games in a month to 12
  2. Everton have been fortunate for about 5 years... it happens...
  3. Not really sure Wolves or Ipswich stand a chance to be honest. To be 10 games into the season without a win is horrific, I imagine Ipswich especially will be realing from Saturday. I think Palace will be fine because they'll spend in Jan and probably carry on picking up the odd result as they have done since their first win. Everton will be annoyingly okay wont they, no way they'll allow themselves to go down with that new stadium looming over them... it'll either be a dyche masterclass or someone new by January. 27 points would have been enough to stay up last season wouldn't be surprised to see the same again, if we pick up one win/3/4 points a month I think they stick with him this season throughout. It'll be horrific, but it'll achieve the ultimate aim. Hopefully by some miracle we can have a full reset in the summer. (New owner/new direction etc)
  4. He's off to take up a Klopp style role with Maranakis. (Forest, Olimpiacos, Rio Ave and another upcoming purchase)
  5. Hope we can keep that line up for two BSMT ( ) games in a row. Give that group a real test. Anyone going to the Notts County game out of intrest? I know it's an awful competition and all that but a good opportunity for me to go, so i'm tempted
  6. Monga, Alves and Evans behind the striker. Has your cock fallen off @Ric Flair
  7. Another 5-2 then?
  8. We're going to get picked apart by Ipswich mind.... all you have to do is press us and we're ****ed
  9. Today in wtf is wrong with our comms land... (linkedin special) We've not mentioned our 140th anniversary and instead gone for.... - The official (long awaited) announcement of our partnership with a (money laundering front) fraudulent and rule breaking bitcoin gambling site - A video about our hospitality featuring twitters favourite womens footballer Tara Kirk (i know she works there before anyone mentions) Also the 140th post on other channels is just so flat
  10. I'd assume the bloke is safe as houses unless there was a player revolt. The league is absolute dog muck this year, we're already 2 wins ahead of 3 teams. Also only one win behind 2 teams who have spent hundreds of millions. The football is horrific, the tactics are none existent, the defending is bone chilling.... but we've got 9 points
  11. I think so! 2021
  12. Nice to see a few minow v minow ties to at least guarantee a few more into round 2. I know for the teams themselves it isn't the money spinner they're after. But it feels like years and years since i've seen genuine semi pro teams in round 3.
  13. Interesting given last nights game, where we were pressed into submission my a team that haven't done that for years... it's clearly something that can be implemented quickly!
  14. It's the goals conceded that worries me most, it's just not something i've thought about us being bad at for a long time. We've always kept things reasonably tight over the last 10 years!
  15. Highlight of the evening has been the commentator saying “Alves” as if he’s just got off the plane from Buenos Aires!!!!
  16. Sort of requires him to get involved though doesn’t it?
  17. ****ing hell no wonder they kept hold of him for so long if some tart gave him a £15m a year contract!!!!
  18. Surely isn’t getting £20m on a years contract?!?!
  19. It's not really a statistic that reflects on us as fans. The clubs comms and marketing set up has been abysmal for years, there's teams in League 2 and the conference showing us up to be perfectly honest. It's interesting what @purpleronnie says above with the 'yuk'.... thing is, if content/engagement is done right, you'll interact with it without even realising/it causing you any issues, sometimes even if you're not intending to! I'd bet we've got a similar sized team to clubs absolutely smashing it out the park too.
  20. You can’t convince me the fella on the right isn’t Steve Beaglehole in a wig….
  21. Not sure Mick Hucknall on the right wrote that one mate….
  22. I think it's a case of a lot of people there being unsettled. Guehi doesn't want to be there, Eze is still putting a shift in but I imagine he wanted to go in the summer too. Even Dougie Freedman looked like he was phoning it in this summer expecting to go to Newcastle.... by his near immaculate transfer record recently, that Nketiah signing sticks out like a sore thumb! Not to mention the inexplicable benching of Wharton, no idea what is going on there. Similarly Matteta hardly getting a kick after saving them last season. Like you say, something doesn't seem right, Glasner feels like a hard nosed type character who might well be rubbing players up the wrong way.
  23. I live here too, I think the actual issue (it's not actually an issue....) is that the local villages of Nottingham are booming and people are socialising more locally. Lots of independents pubs, restaurants, cafes etc are setting up shop more locally than in a city centre. It's a post covid thing, people stayed locally and communities thrived from it. I've just moved but I lived in Ruddington from the start of Covid to mid 2024 and the village transformed, full of shops, cafes, all the pubs got revamped etc etc. The city centre issue in Nottingham is also emphasised by the 10+ year disaster that is broadmarsh.... but at least some stuff is starting to happen with it
  24. I know what you mean, but in reality Lako if our strategy post relegation is the same as last time (keep as many players as poss and make a mockery of the league.... minus a few wobbles) then it should be a yo-yo situation. Not saying there's no risk of course!
