I'm so excited to launch my "We should of bloody signed him" thread in December this year.... imagine it will be just as hillarious as every season... loads of flops.
-
Hull's 3rd kit is lovely.... no ****ing clue when they're going to wear it mind
-
sorry terribly worded, Friday morning! I was saying from my experience, those who have managed at youth level are actually less supportive of a quick rise to first team football. I think Cooper will be much more on board with getting Alves and Braybrooke good loans, which I think is actually a great idea. First and foremost we need to survive this season, we can do what we like next year if we stay up! And whose to say Ayew doesn't go to Saudi next year? They'll probably still want him!
-
I think it's probably less likely if you've had those jobs, whether it's England U17's or Liverpool... you essentially know better than anyone whether these people are ready for first team football. By that measurement, i'd trust his judgement more than someone without that experience of working in youth development.

Another day on foxestalk means another day of considering a name change so as not to be inadvertently associated with the warped musings of @AKCJ
-
So basically he's signed for Chelsea.
-
I wasn't really, just saying it's typical of our culture as a club during the KP era that things got super comfy very quickly.
-
I mean i'd like to read the whole article. I get the point he's making though, Belvoir drive was ruggid, it was also the scene of many of that core groups success, they had to work hard for it in what was essentially a local sports club that had been tarted up occassionally. It was also in a very residential busy area. Move out to the countryside, golf course, all the facilities he mentions, the chance to live up the road in Nottingham or north Leics countryside, access to a more interesting city with more going on.... whilst it's still down to managers to keep players feet on the ground, I can completely understand how they got comfortable there. Ultimately, we're a comfy club, there's staff who have been here too long, players etc etc, this all fits as part of that. Nice Thai hospitality, everything shiny and new with barely any threat to your position.

Exactly what i've put just above

I was wondering what I was hearing on the TV on monday mental! Think is we've got Ayew and linked to Sergeant... he might be less on side but doesn't exactly seem like he's going away. I guess his links to Vardy mean he'll be around for at least another season even if not on the best terms. I just hate it mate... we either deal with them or CAA... no creative thinking anymore, just get into bed with whoever can get a deal over the line quickly. Can't wait to see agents fee's published this year
-
Don't think anyone is claiming we are signing Ayew because he has played for Cooper before. This will be an agent recomendation because John Morris knows how easy it is to play us.
-
It's worth noting Mark Ashton (Ipswich Sporting Director) basically ruined any progress Bristol City were making a few years ago, by signing players for big money on big contracts, on the back of them having one good season previously...... sound familiar?

Wasserman… imagine my ****ing surprise

I didn't watch past the daft **** at the start assuming KDH had never played in Europe

I posted earlier Stan, Prem clubs aren't allowed to loan a player they bought this window to another Prem club.

Yep! Also more recently played a big part in Harvey Barnes development. I'd like to see a copycat of his development to be honest, perhaps fast tracked though, 4 months with Barnsley and 6 months with West Brom if he does well with Barnsley. -
I'd be very happy with this. Incredibly highly rated. We've dealt with his agency before too.

We've always had a good relationship with Barnsley. Really like the club too, great away day. -
Fulham v Leicester - Pre-match thread (August 24th)

I thought this last weekend when I was doing my fantasy team, then Palace threw about 4 players in who hadn't had a pre season at all. See also Vardy Fulham were crap on Friday... they need these players. -
- Premier League clubs cannot loan to another Premier League club a player they have acquired in the same transfer window.

Looks like they will have Anderson and Berge available for selection which make them significantly stronger. -
*Sorry didn't realise it was the whole game highlights

Not beyond the realms that he's on the bench on Tuesday I guess. Not like it's unheard of, especially not in the Carabao. -
Not sure about the second verse...

"Dad, can you come and play with me" "I can't, i'm busy doing my football......
