I always appreciate managers who accept they've made a mistake, especially mid tournament. Was giving him pelters a few weeks ago! Those first few group games were horrific, no striker, players playing out of position. Fast forward, he's not being lead by names, not feeling like he's got to play Nwaneri, getting Stansfield up there as a focal point. The identity is really clear, I think if he got some media training he'd be England manager already.

I’m not asking them to tell us what happening….. I’m asking them to make the day to day more engaging to protect our future support base. Could do a tour of bits of the training ground, stuff fans don’t get to see, could do a day in the life of an interesting employee like ground staff or maybe catering or something, an insight into pre season preparations from the fitness team… there’s 3 ideas off the bat… show life, show personality… And to your point… WHY is it two old timers?? That’s the biggest issue, get some new ideas in the place, diversify a bit. Spurs fans love their social team, one of the girls who does it is really funny and engaging and knows what people want to see!
