David Fox, Loans Manager set to leave Leicester to join Plymouth
ACF replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Reckon he’d be a great Loans Manager too, seems to know a fair bit about Temporary Employment -
It’s a nod and a wink, not a legal agreement. As long as no contract is signed and no other party is being paid (and no one says anything) should be all fine Part of the game!
-
But giving him 4 years actually helped us PSR wise. Otherwise you’re spreading the £25m or whatever it was over 3 years, not 4, making his yearly impact £2,083,333 higher. That’s a Coulibaly a year!!!
-
And if he walks away from a contract, its very strong evidence of what we feel he was worth.
-
You could very easily say “Here’s your contract for the day you are eligible, and this will be your signing on fee, which is X PLUS the equivalent of £20k per week wage + bonuses for the last two years”
-
His uncle Canal used to be a decent player

Moira to get a new contract #MoiraIn

Timmy Chestnuts was like his New York Mob name “Leave the gun, take the chestnuts”
-
Heard he’s not even showing up to training 4 days a week, slacker

Changes to Championship Profit & Sustainability Rules approved at EGM

Understood completely! But a good sponsor relationship is mutually beneficial to both sides, not just a cash grab. An opportunity to raise a your own profile via another vehicle. Source: Me, marketing professional with focus on consumer, commercialisation & brand partnerships. -

Sorry, this is totally the wrong way to spin this and something I’m quite passionate about. Wrexham have done a phenomenal job of commercialising the club, helped by their absolute star power yes, but it’s the case study on how to get attention, and therefore £, into your club. Meanwhile, whilst we had ALL the attention, we treat fans like crap, we continued with KP as front of shirt sponsors rather than accept outside money, we’ve launched absolute crap merchandise, our media and social media team are atrocious and don’t drive engagement with the club, I could go on and on. The online shop has been down for at least 6 weeks whilst our greatest ever player has retired, can’t buy a Vardy shirt. And when we do try to capitalise, it’s shit tours to South East Asia in monsoon season. We all whinge about the amount we spent on shite players, but our revenue generation is also absolutely terrible.- 86 replies

But it’s more agent-led noise, than actually anything about other clubs being interested
-
Yeah but he didn’t have any Premier League Experience™ so obviously not worth it
-
Absolute diving ***** Lucas Neill never touched him
-
He can’t sort out Tottenham’s defence, yes. It’s not just injuries, it’s player mindset. But Levy uses him as his meat shield the way that Rudkin does Ruud. Given the trust, Ange would be ****ing phenomenal for us next year, Bielsa-esque fun. Infuriating at times, but with a club that embraces the mindset, tough to beat. Never going to happen mind

18s not having fun vs Spurs, 5-0 down after 53’ -
Neithers sacking Rudkin but I can hope yeah?
-
Have any of his performances warranted him getting a fair run? Or are you basing it off Faes and Vesty being shite? Because if it’s that, Caleb Okoli would like a word
-
Had only just seen it myself No chance he drops a division, more chance of Ange, but will dream.
-
Imanol Alguacil
-
Just need someone dumb enough to buy him now 🤞🏼

It says a lot that two relegations in no way defines this man’s Leicester career. An absolute king.
