  1. I genuinely think this is the case they're building. We are obviously not spending more than what we did in the last Championship season. We have sold players we believe are assets for less than what we think is fair value, meaning we whilst we did turn down bids, we did end up coming to agreements. We didn't receive bids (that we know of) at the end of 24/25 so couldn't cash in. We have let players go, including our best ever player, for free, without trying to resign them. Made an effort to promote youth, including playing 16 year olds in the Premier League. Made one very cheap signing in the January 25 transfer window, despite being in the relegation zone. Delayed getting RVN a coaching staff to avoid paying compensation Delayed sacking RVN (even though it ended up being the same period), didn't pay compensation for Cifuentes in 24/25. We don't have a front of shirt sponsor, but we haven't plastered the club's owners logo on the front either, so no 'related party transactions'. Whilst we might fail PSR for 24/25 based on revenue and not being able to shift the high earners, the club can at least point to supposed behaviour change vs the Championship season in 23/24 to try and protect ourselves from an embargo and reduce the point deduction. The elements that they got wrong from a football business point of view in 24/25 were two bad management hirings and firings, signing Skipp for the fee we did, and performance on the pitch leading to lower gate receipts and TV money.
  2. You'd think the penny would drop with him a bit. He might not want to be here, but clearly nobody else wants him.
  3. Would you rather KBet as a sponsor; or sell an extra player (Fatawu, Winks)?
  4. If I've solved the riddle correctly Scott Parker is a moron.
  5. I would go with very minimal changes, Marti needs time to set the system. Mav for Monga, Alves for BEK to ramp young Will up in case Billy leaves, and Nelson for Jannik. Aim for Page, Braybrooke, Evans, Aluko, Joseph to get game time.
  6. I think he benches Soumare & Faes as a “you guys need to leave” message, and plays them against Huddersfield as a shop window game. Not concerned if we don’t see Monga and the youth as long as we see them starting Tuesday.
  7. Domain expires April next year 👀
  8. So you’re saying I’m cooked?
  9. We both know it would be ignored.
  10. I don't think anyone can complain if we have Mads in the Championship. If it is the case, would like to see one of Stol or Bausor out on loan, so we can prepare for the future. Begovic as a #2 is fine if Stol goes, if Bausor goes we can then see what we've actually got there. Get him to 30-35 games senior games ASAP.
  11. Right seeing as I'm approx 10,000 miles away from Filbert Way, I'll say it. Can't ban me from games that I can't attend. Communications is a function to keep the stakeholders informed & engaged with the running of the club. That's anyone from the employees, owners, the suppliers, the media and of course, the paying fans. It seems that the Comms team have forgotten the external element to this function. They got a very big win in the legal issues, by staying silent, not sharing any information, and came out on top. They have taken this strategy and applied it to everything within the club. Anthony seems to have forgotten that there is a PR battle against the club being lost, and the negativity from the clubs closed-off mentality will continue to breed this feeling further and further. There is the blatant disrespect to fan groups who make the additional effort to engage with the club, for the betterment of others, including the atmosphere in stadium, that's a single issue, and you know what, they would not be the only club who would fall afoul of this. Then you combine it with total dishonesty and going against the supposed 'values' of the club, and use our club as a vehicle to promote shady businesses, something bad enough on it's own, but we wouldn't be the only club involved in sportswashing. A messy preseason, not sharing fixture details or preseason camps in an attempt to keep fans away; not great again but with no manager, I could understand not wanting to create a further public deadline for themselves. On top of that, the club chooses to hide our Under 18 and 21 fixtures, so no one scouts our developing talent, not even our own fans. Would be lovely to watch a game on FoxesHub, or Youtube, to cast an eye on our future talent, something genuinely engaging. But not only that, what about our Girls Academy, only recently started. Something I'd love to know more on, but it gets less of a mention than the Boys who barely get a report. And then, it's utter silence on the issues that matter most to the fans, addressing the continued failure of on field performance. Whilst the Director of Comms isn't responsible for who we sign, who gets fired, the utter contempt the club has shown to it's fans is a disgrace. The letter after the first relegation saying we will learn lessons, and then not learning them, obviously caused them some strife. So instead of changing the behaviour to learn the lessons, they just chose to say they wouldn't learn anything. On an individual issue level, i could almost forgive them for one. No club is perfect. When combined, it's a genuine debacle, and if Anthony is being gagged by the owners, he should quit for his own sake. A comms strategy of saying absolutely nothing on every single issue is not a comms strategy, it's avoiding the truth. This doesn't even consider other issues, like not allowing mental health flyers being passed out, paid player appearances, and of course, the utterly tone-deaf #TruthfromThailand. The only truth from Thailand we care about is why on Earth we have lied to four managers in a row, why has our recruitment strategy changed so often based off a temporary manager hires, and what has been implemented within the club Right now, Anthony Herlihy, you are a problem. You're not the only problem, but you are currently presiding over a failure to engage and inform your customer base. You're avoiding conflict and negative PR by not telling us the truth on matters of club performance, whilst also gagging fan groups and pushing fans away. I implore you to change your ways meaningfully. We want to hear from the club, not just Top. We want to support, not just attend. We want to be heard, not just spoken to. We want to feel connected, not just be the transaction.
  12. To take this a step further King Power struggling to pay the bills to government owned Airports of Thailand, and at risk of the Duty Free monopoly being stripped from them. More and more articles appeared criticising KP, which has been incredibly rare, talking about the potential corruption involved as the business was being developed. They’ve then hired the former AOT chief, someone trusted to keep things moving and safe. I would say this ‘campaign’ from Top is about trying to get back in the governments good books, providing a vehicle for their propaganda that they would lose in event of KP going bust.
  13. #TruthfromSeagrave
  14. You're absolutely right, it is annoying. I declare from here on in he's referred to as JJJ, or Junior JJ.
  15. Souttar Lead from the rehab group
  16. Tune: The King Of Wishful Thinking - Go West Leicester play in blue the books are red We’ll pretend the clubs not sinking We’ll tell ourselves we’re going straight back up under Marti Cifuentes
  17. Being in Oz I have watched a lot of him since he was 15, seen him in person a handful of times when he’s been in Melbourne. Kid just has that something special. Very interested to see how he’s kicked on technically but Kompany seemed to really like him when he joined. Bayern only signed him for £2.6m, they’ve basically recouped their money if he fails. Great move from them. Definitely some bargains here in the A-League if the club is looking in the right spots
  18. Been working on this one all night hope no one else thought of it first More like NotOKBet amirite lads ahaha
  19. Nestory Irankunda to Watford for £2.5m is going to be a steal by the way.

  24. CI FU ENTES CI FU ENTES MANAGES LEICESTER MORE HAIR THAN MARESCA AND PAYS HIS OWN COMPO
  25. Genuinely hope they keep the leaks out the press, announce a press conference and we get a surprise announcement as the new manager walks in.
