Not trying to argue with your points, absolutely understand what you’re saying. I’m trying to look at process vs outcome on players. VK, Coady, Cannon, seemed to all make sense at the time. I feel the same with Okoli, I don’t think he’s been played enough to get a good look at what he *actually* is. Completely agree on scouting personalities, it’s my biggest issue with Glover. The lack of joined up thinking and listening to managers too much has what’s gotten us in trouble. I don’t think Wout Faes is the main reason behind our decline. I don’t think his attitude is helping, but this same attitude helped us get straight back up. Resigning Vesty is a bigger issue for me, not Glover’s responsibility. I will die on the Souttar hill though. Could’ve been Maguire 2.0. I am admittedly very biased as I’ve watched a hell of a lot of him prior to his signing and was calling for it on here well before we were linked. So poorly managed. -

Missed the most important signing Odsonne Edouard - if this was Glover’s idea should be fired -

Faes - Good signing, shit attitude Kristensen - was promising, declined in line with club Souttar - criminally underused, not done much wrong Cannon - sold for profit Mavididi - good signing, limited potential but good Championship winger Hermansen - sold for profit, great signing Coady - bought in when we needed a leader in the dressing room, didn’t work, but made sense Winks - good signing, shit attitude Fatawu - great signing Okoli - something there Skipp - Cooper’s fault Ayew - Cooper’s fault, at least an option in the Championship BEK - good signing, should cash in for profit Woyo - ???? I trust in Glover. I don’t trust Rudkin or Top, or our ability to identify culture setting leaders. -
ACCEPT

Assuming BEK is gone Stol Aluko Faes Okoli Thomas Winks RiccyP (if not, Hamza) Fatawu Ayew Mavididi Daka Monga, Page, Alves off the bench. Law of averages that one of Ayew/Daka has half a shooting boot on them.

We don’t even need official statements, they could just say so much indirectly through a Percy or a Jordan Blackwell. “An insight into the cost of relegation at Leicester” -
Still believe it over 12 months on

Stolarczyk Hamza Okoli Vestergaard Thomas Page Winks Fatawu Ayew Bilal Mavididi

Irankunda had a good game last night by all reports, and another A-League export, Adrian Segecic already setting Fratton Park alight. A-League is Best League

James Justin (signed for Leeds, official. 10m.)

Understand that but that’s why I mentioned him third 😂 We’ve still got two other options + he’s just a warm body. -

Perfect sale this. We know he’s not good enough for the level above but I think he’s replaced fairly easily by Hamza. Also opens the door for Joseph and Aluko, let alone Woyo. His wages off the book + anything north of £5m is good business. -
Are we sure about cup-tieing all the youngsters?

We do have too many players for registration purposes though. We need the clear-out to happen!

I genuinely think this is the case they're building. We are obviously not spending more than what we did in the last Championship season. We have sold players we believe are assets for less than what we think is fair value, meaning we whilst we did turn down bids, we did end up coming to agreements. We didn't receive bids (that we know of) at the end of 24/25 so couldn't cash in. We have let players go, including our best ever player, for free, without trying to resign them. Made an effort to promote youth, including playing 16 year olds in the Premier League. Made one very cheap signing in the January 25 transfer window, despite being in the relegation zone. Delayed getting RVN a coaching staff to avoid paying compensation Delayed sacking RVN (even though it ended up being the same period), didn't pay compensation for Cifuentes in 24/25. We don't have a front of shirt sponsor, but we haven't plastered the club's owners logo on the front either, so no 'related party transactions'. Whilst we might fail PSR for 24/25 based on revenue and not being able to shift the high earners, the club can at least point to supposed behaviour change vs the Championship season in 23/24 to try and protect ourselves from an embargo and reduce the point deduction. The elements that they got wrong from a football business point of view in 24/25 were two bad management hirings and firings, signing Skipp for the fee we did, and performance on the pitch leading to lower gate receipts and TV money.

You'd think the penny would drop with him a bit. He might not want to be here, but clearly nobody else wants him.
-
Would you rather KBet as a sponsor; or sell an extra player (Fatawu, Winks)?
-
If I've solved the riddle correctly Scott Parker is a moron.
-
I would go with very minimal changes, Marti needs time to set the system. Mav for Monga, Alves for BEK to ramp young Will up in case Billy leaves, and Nelson for Jannik. Aim for Page, Braybrooke, Evans, Aluko, Joseph to get game time.
-
I think he benches Soumare & Faes as a “you guys need to leave” message, and plays them against Huddersfield as a shop window game. Not concerned if we don’t see Monga and the youth as long as we see them starting Tuesday.

We both know it would be ignored. -
I don't think anyone can complain if we have Mads in the Championship. If it is the case, would like to see one of Stol or Bausor out on loan, so we can prepare for the future. Begovic as a #2 is fine if Stol goes, if Bausor goes we can then see what we've actually got there. Get him to 30-35 games senior games ASAP.
