The Board must be in cloud cuckoo land
murphy replied to Glovermagic555's topic in Leicester City Forum
That's one way of looking at it. Another is that celebrating the title win before the fans like this only serves to highlight how far we have fallen so quickly and the breathtaking magnitude of the management's ****wittery in getting us here. I think it's tone deaf and should be mothballed. It's a bit like giving a starving man a photo of a donut. -

"Foxes never Quit" time for a new slogan/

From Foxes Never Quit to Toxic Bag Of Shit -
No. That makes no sense at all.

I'm looking forward to a time when we don't have several new threads which are the same as other threads, just with a slightly different wording in the title.

Yes, you're mistaken, plus we didn't beat Wednesday twice.

Forest will buy it for peanuts and paint it red. The final humiliation

The worst season in our history
murphy replied to when_you're_smiling's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think the points deduction was pivotal actually. That was the point that heads dropped and spirits were broken. It cost us far more than six points -
Someone posted this damming stat in the match thread (below). I think it warrants a closer look. At first glance, you might think it shows, what many of us suspect and that is that these players don't care and they're not trying. It might also mean that we're a team of geriatrics (Ayew, Ricardo, Vestergaard, Reid...) Or it simply an indictment of our turgid sideways, always playing in front of teams, before turning back on ourselves, no one breaking lines, no one running from deep, wingers turning back on themselves? Or a combination of all three?

You think we could attract a half-decent manager? Rowett is our level now.
-
I'd be delighted if we sold everybody tomorrow
-
I mean, whatever Cooper has or hasnt done is irrelevant, because not he, nor anyone else would be able to sort this lot out at this stage
-
So what. Do you think Cooper Coukd get a tune out of this bunch of milksops? I don't think there is a manager on the planet that could make a coherent team out of this rabble at this point.
-
There's no 'more or less' about it. We have been categorically, emphatically and epically shit.
-
There is nothing to look forward to because we are still falling. It's only when we reach the bottom that we can start to look up again. I don't know when that will be.
-
I'd go along with this idea. Might create a bit of panic. I mean, It's not ideal, but the alternatives are Daka and Ayew.

The answer must be Alex Smithies regardless of the question

We have a squad which, for a large number of them has actually won the championship and players that have had international and Premier league careers. That is what makes this squad so revolting. Don't let them off the hook by accepting that they're not good enough. They've been phoning it in for weeks.

I woukd hardly call this one 'a battle'

A sad story, but he was another one of Taylor's flops. On the few occasions he was fit enough to play he was just average. The Oliver Skipp of his day.
-
We have won once in 16. Where do you think three wins will come from? We can't even score. Sorry it's not positive but it's realism.
