  1. i'd happily see them **** off tbh. the PL is a joke in terms of level playing field. **** them off and put some sort of limits in place on money can be spent for the remaining teams.
  2. ffs
  3. Thanks Deb. I did have some photos in this thread but they've pretty much disappeared. I'll upload a few:
  4. yeah, I guess it's just not got a very powerful camera - looking at the specs. it'll struggle with the detail and depth - phones generally tend to do better with things nearer to you. people who shoot landscapes and get amazing shots tend to have the right lenses etc. to do so. even my fuji x100f doesn't do a great job on scenery stuff because of the lens specs but i bought it for street photography so, I lean towards that anyway.
  5. what phone are you using? getting good scenery / landscape shots with a phone is always hard because you cant really get much depth so everything ends up looking a bit flat.
  6. quick offer to my fellow mental health strugglers: I'm a PT at a gym in Oadby. I retrained as a PT last year after the gym pulled me out of a pretty dark place which I'd been stuck in for a few years. through weight lifting - I found that even though everything else in my life was at a stand-still, if I went to the gym every day and put the work in, I could make small improvements every day. this gave me a real sense of achievement - my physical health and strength improved significantly and my mental wellbeing improved alongside it. I retrained because I wanted to help other people improve their mental health through fitness - so my new passion became my job - it turned my life around, really. if you're feeling down, feeling stuck, feeling low on self-esteem - HIT ME UP. I've got some time and space to take a few people on who want to come down and try some weight lifting (or some hiit / circuits - if you'd prefer). I'll guide you through an hour session on a few different things FREE OF CHARGE - you just need to pay the £6 day fee for the gym. Open to male / female, any age - you just need to be free of any serious injury and not have any 'no exercise' warnings from your doctor (heart issues, etc.) if you read this and even remotely consider it for a small moment - give it a go - it could be the thing that helps you push on as well! drop me a DM and I'll get back to you.
  7. just like real life! top 1% get away with whatever they want while the rest of us suffer. everything is broken through and through.
  8. I used to post tongue-in-cheek / faux-angry posts on here quite often - but a lot gets lost in translation and whilst I used to get a fair few likes / upvotes, etc. I realised that you end up looking like a bit of a dickhead to others when the tone doesn't cut through - you genuinely come across as angry, even if that's not the case. Also realised that voicing all of your opinions on a forum to the same few people all the time is just a time-sink and not really worth it. way more productive ways to spend your spare time.
  9. has to start. has been weirdly frozen out at times even though his stats say he's our best shot as actually making things happen in the opposition box. can't fault his application, spends months in the cold and comes into games / cup games and does the business. miles ahead of vardy and daka.
  10. vk shows thomas up to be the plop he is - been severely missing someone of quality in that position. tete was electric, again, we've seriously missed someone with that kind of drive and flair souttar looked good at the back, held his nerve after the OG on his debut and grew into the game. brendan doesn't get everything right but you can't really argue that we looked a LOT better today with some fresh tools in the tool box. really helps that those fresh tools were bosch and not b&q own brand shite
  11. this has got classic last minute flap written all over it we really need to hold onto these points.
  12. castagne is actual dog plop isnt he really
  13. For me it's not about unerring or unquestioning love for Top or KP. It's about balancing my expectations. Since they took the club over we've experienced the highest of highs, the trophy wins, the promotions. We've experienced low, lows. The helicopter crash, etc. You know, for me - all of those memories the good, the bad; everyone laying flowers outside the stadium, the signing of the memorandum book - the absolute ****ing family unit we felt during those times where everyone stuck together and our togetherness was the envy of pretty much everyone in world football - that lives on in me. I remember all of those times so fondly and that, for me means I'm prepared to stick by Top - he's earned that, for me. You don't just turn your back on people like that at the first sign of a wobble. There's guys on here who never accepted our Thai owners, who spit their dummy out at having to experience a bit of someone else's culture. For me that's what makes the world go round. I'm well travelled, taking in other people's culture, mixing it in, is in my DNA, I seek it out. Top is how old? Younger than me I expect, mid 30's? He's not going to get everything right and why should we expect it? Point to an owner that does, good luck with that. People on here go on like relegation is the death of the club. No it isn't, get real ffs. We go on, we go again. 3 clubs get relegated every year, point to one which went under because of it? Good luck with that too. I value long term relationships and the types of memories we created as a unit much more than short lived aspirations like another trophy. If we go down under Top then so be it. Hopefully we come back up under him and get to experience it all again. No skin off my nose, the world keeps turning, life goes on. Ask questions all you want but the way he's been spoken about on here in the last 6 months has been gross tbh. It's not black and white not everyone is hell bent on only trophies, new signings, top 6 finishes, etc. Some people take into consideration the journey along the way and sticking alongside those who've supported us when they need our support. If he comes out and says in the program he's committed, that's good enough for me. I don't have to deep dive into every last word, pick apart every last sentence, etc. His word has been good in the past and I'm sure it'll be good in the future - until he genuinely does something to show otherwise. It's not about being right all the time, nobody is winning any points for getting one over on another poster, for calling Rodgers shit 2 years ago, good for you, enjoy lording it over everyone. Some of the people who've stood by Top have done so because that's just what feels right. Not to win a petty argument on a forum.
  14. It's tiring af. I don't visit / post here anywhere near as much in the past but it's pure doom & gloom echo chamber 90% of the time and people wonder why everyone in the real world isn't as angry, it's probably because they're dealing with a myriad of other problems and football, despite not being great right now is still only a 90 minute escape from the other bullshit they're going through and they don't spend 24/7 winding themselves up into a frenzy like some on here.
  15. hE DOeSnT cArE AnYmOrE
  16. Top could bend over, drop his pants and reveal a tattoo around his arsehole that says IM C-O-MMITTED TO LCFC and people on here will still come up with some absolute nonsense reason why he's selling or seemingly not bothered.
  17. Good luck to him.
  18. some of you just can't take a day off eh
  19. wE KnEW wHaT wE WaS VoTInG FoR!
  20. this place is unbearable i dunno how most guys get out of bed in the morning
  21. big albrighton fan and sad to see him go but i think some people are being a bit ott here. i mean, he doesn't actually feature THAT much and if he wants to go to get regular football then surely we owe him that?
  22. Monaco or brexit Britain. HMM.
