  1. 2 points lost was definitely his fault, we invited the pressure that ultimately lead to the equaliser because of his shoddy game management
  2. unfortunately this is probably true. like, who is he gonna be unpopular with? Ricardo and the wingers probably (Bilal and Facundo signed under him so will leave them out for now). only one who is gonna have reasonable sway is Ricky.
  3. set ups are absolutely shocking, mans already starting to make excuses blaming the refs for everything (honestly thought that was driven by your mental chairman now I'm not so sure). he's tactically out of his depth
  4. didn't see the value in another CB as our first signing in the summer when we needed new CMs and Strikers just to stand still in squad depth but fair play, dude looks like he's making the step into the division quite well
  5. PGMOL and PL are two separate organisations, can we not do this "everything is a conspiracy" shit? like having El Empty back
  6. the comments of a man who doesn't understand countering. like how are you planning to counter with 10 in your own box Steve?
  7. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/steve-cooper-explains-leicester-city-9554957.amp Never saw the goal coming, wouldn't say we invited pressure, we managed the game well. man's a ****ing clown
  8. see that angle on MOTD with JJ lunging, I can see the case for onside, it's tight looking, so why put up the one with just Faes and Okoli with him clearly beyond.
  9. the disrespect for Kevin Phillips in this (dare I say Cambiasso also qualifies there?)
  10. thing that bothers me is he claimed he'd spent his time out learning from his mistakes at forest, so why the hell is he making the exact same ones? the only real conclusion is that he doesn't think they are mistakes, he thinks 800 men behind the ball, national league team at a PL team in the cup, is sensible tactics, which makes him tactically inept and not fit to be a PL manager. get him gone
  11. it's a drop in the ocean for them, extorting fans isn't moving the needle on their revenues, it's all on TV and sponsorship deals
  12. some Danny Ward level keeping that from the forest bloke
  13. good question, we've taken off an attacking mid and a winger, not as if we had Buonanotte, El Khanouss or even Bobby ****ing Reid on the bench...
  14. **** me that's woeful. just desperately bad football, nothing but hoping to shithouse a win where a team can't finish for toffee. But it's pragmatic right?
  15. dycheball v Cooperball is the sort of thing that turns up last on motd and gets cut for time, gonna be horrific
  16. QPR goal is is a thing of beauty proper playground scrum goal
  17. I feel like we have this conversation every single time there's a VAR off side. yes, it is possible and should be, because the camera isn't flat on, they're all going to the vanishing point so are done parallel even if they don't look it in image
  18. can we stop with this idea that it's because he's ex Forest? like yes, his record at forest will be pointed to because he's not a Glasner or the new Brighton lad, he's managed in this division before, but he could have been at Everton, Bournemouth, Palace or any other club and these comments would be the same - he knows the division and has a terrible record in it, can't set up a team for toffee away from home and is making the same mistakes he made last time he was in the division
  19. what was Sousas record? P9, W1, D2, L6? can seriously see Cooper doing worse with these set ups.
  20. will be, it's just villa but with Mav in for Fatawu, because that was totally the issue with that lineup
  21. what a ****ing shit team. get him gone top
  22. spot on. having 4 defensive based midfielders/forwards and relying purely on one winger and the striker, as we have done this far, is how you get trounced on the regular, because you pose zero threat and teams don't have to worry about defending. you want to set up solidly? fine, play the double pivot, or even 3 cms, but then have two wingers and a forward with license to just go forward and stretch the game
  23. yea, that'd be home grown at club, but that's for uefa competitions, not the PL
  24. yes, because he was registered with a club registered with the FA for 3 years before he turned 21. so many have the * because we don't have many signed from abroad after their 18th birthday
  25. he's shit, there's seriously concerning patterns in the set up and play that mirror what he did at forest indicating that these are his ride or die tactics. best time to correct a mistake is when it's first noticed
