  1. I mean, keeping Thomas as far away from our defence as possible seems like a solid tactic
  2. **** it, win. I've put Son, Porro and Solanke in my fpl team so they'll **** it up
  3. they absolutely do, and have a smaller allowance than us.
  4. any truth to the rumours I'm making up that the beer options were all Aldi cans?
  5. pathetic. just resign already so we can have the fun of every manager with sense saying "Rudkin has to go" and see how much Top cheaps out. only about 5 manager cycles to go before he appoints himself
  6. in which case we're better off signing noone than approaching 7 figures on a striker who prior to last season had a 1 in 7 record at championship level.
  7. god I can't wait for Szmodics to flop so people can stop ****ing talking about him. last season is the only time he's looked above even league one standard, he's another Ross McCormack or Jordan Rhodes
  8. stick the boot into Rudkin please. need a manager strong enough to call the clubs shit out. Enzo would have, and much as I hate Rodgers he could have done it properly if he hadn't gone into Mourinho ego mode.
  9. so, you're proposing living in the past like forest rather than taking action to fix the obvious issues?
  10. god I hope Rudkin pulls off one of his disaster classes in these negotiations
  11. a basic level of competence and not, 16 weeks after confirming promotion, having a weaker squad than the one that went to Preston to win the title
  12. not at Leicester it doesn't. Rudkins keeps getting his tie trapped in the fax machine
  13. you're saying it's possible to negotiate a contract in a day? that doesn't sound right
  14. Danny Ward 5 year extension incoming
  15. spectacular you'd think we'd ask the agents "hey, would your bloke entertain an offer from us" before going through all this.
  16. end up signing a bloke called Rich who rides a moped
  17. mav was in a week before the season started
  18. fortunately we do already have a working vaccine for it (smallpox vaccine) so, unless the antivax nutters really take off, it shouldn't be another SARS-COV-2
  19. yea but just like Forest, we live in the past. bunch of servile happy clappers shouting "but they won us the title" as they cheer for KPFC Est. 2011 having completely lost touch with our history
  20. Rudkin really couldn't negotiate his way out of a paper bag, Christ alive
  21. https://www.themirror.com/sport/boxing/musk-rowling-olympic-boxer-prison-645036 and people claim Britain is a real country (the chain of causality: Miliband loses the 2015 election to give a majority to Cameron. Cameron then can't give up the eu referendum policy on coalition negotiations. the EU referendum goes in favour of brexit, Cameron resigns and May becomes PM. May attends a Pink News award evening where she states her governments commitment to reforming the gender recognition act and anti-trans campaigners find that as a rallying point. Rowling gets radicalised by those campaigners and harasses Imane Khelif on Twitter, leading to Khelif to file a criminal case against her)
  22. I mean he's not though, he's a perfectly competent player in the right system, but he either lacks the tactical nouse or the attitude and application to play any other role. that's technically fine but other issues, capable of being a good player if you build a system to his strengths, not proper shit, unable to perform regardless of system (e.g. Josh Low)
  23. based on what clubs are in because it has to split into two equal sized sections. Us, Walsall and Peterborough have grounds at similar latitudes so end up bouncing between sections each year to balance them out
  24. surprised they've got the time tbh. absolutely deadly on the offence mind
  25. we've not played Bradford away in 2 decades. realistically to have been to Barrow you'd have to be in your 60s now, that's multiple generations who've never seen us play there. that's what the early rounds of the cups are about, going to grounds you'd never even get close to normally
