Average league position for us is 22nd, prior to King Power it was 23rd. Average league position for Cov is 36th, prior to SISU it was 35th. we're talking the difference between top flight v second tier yo-yo vs firmly second tier lower midtable. That is a big difference

you went off on one at one point about analysts and Jordan Ayew, but genuinely I don't think we listen to or actually bother with analytics at all. For those of us who used to scrape data from FBRef for fun before they nerfed the offerings on there, relegation in 2022/23 was a very real possibility from the opening day, that we were nowhere near in 21/22 was an aberration due to absurd quality at both ends of the pitch (I was in I think the rodgers thread in the first week with my little Excel graphs showing it). If we've got analysts at the club, they should have been ringing alarm bells at that time, and the club still turn around and say they don't know how it happened. Pearson was big on marginal gains and we've basically got rid of every last aspect he looked at.

the part where you claimed we can't set an effective press and attacks break down with him in the side. Criticise him for his finishing all you want, that's completely justified, but our attack is far more cohesive with him in it and our press far better. He can press and set a tempo, the whole issue is that he can't finish.

very obvious @Fox92 is talking about going between championship and league one, given people are defending the notion of going down this season as us being a yoyo club... we've spent more seasons playing European football than league one football in our history. We do not yo-yo between those divisions

need to be careful at this stage, while there's minimal unity as far as the need for change goes.
