Ayew dropped give rowett a 5 year contract tbh
-
Gonna get relegated because Aiyawatt couldn't be bothered to do the basic aspects of a CEO and is too arrogant to admit it... anyone who doesn't want them driven out with pitchforks has their head in the sand

I'd also say that, assuming that Vichai was the expert businessman his success would suggest (that it wasn't just due to good relationships granting him a monopoly) - there would have been an long range plan in place. That we started to fall apart around 3-4 years after his passing strongly suggests we reached the end of the LRP he had in place and Aiyawatt was found wanting once that crutch was removed -

football is packed with owners who don't put their club 10 bad results away from extinction. I would 100% give up the fa cup, even the title, to still have a club in 10, 20, 30 years time -

absolutely spot on. I genuinely believe we are at serious risk of administration, or worse, liquidation if we drop into league one. Concerning thing is you listen to king power supporters and they sound like they would back king power all the way to that point, that nothing short of the club going out of business would get them to question the ownership. it's cult like worship of dear leader and I don't know how you can possibly get through to them when king power are more important than the club itself to them

14 months for Rob Kelly not long term then?
-
isn't that the wrong way, just slower?

could literally have been in office 20 days ago. Let's be honest, we've pissed around trying to tempt someone who'd never come here and wasted three winnable games and a cup fixture for ironing out any issues

Protest march vs Norwich - Sat 28th Feb 2026
The Doctor replied to Dan's topic in Leicester City Forum
we won the prem with a squad that cost comfortably less than 50m because we had employed people with expertise in all of the medical and coaching areas, and the chairman trusted those in position to do their jobs rather than trying to interfere with how he thought the game should be played. We don't need mega money to get back to being a lower midtable prem side, which I think we'd all take at this point, we need a director of football who can negotiate his way out of an empty room, and to fill our world class training facilities with staff who can make use of them. That Aiyawatt will not put that in place is why he needs to sell.- 856 replies

and this was obviously a risk, because we had his previous clubs records with abysmal recruitment. A smart board would have kept him at arms length and restricted him on that (tell the recruitment team what profile he wants, final sign off on the options presented by them, no picking his own targets). Although, a smart board would have let him go to Arsenal when he was still very much in the honeymoon phase (like 6 months in the job) and started making eyes at them, rather than giving him one of the biggest contracts in world football.

no, rules changed - you can play for up to two teams in the same cup tournament, just not in the same round and have to be registered before the round starts

Southampton v Leicester - FA CUP - Saturday 14th Feb 3pm

nope, rules changed this season, now you can play for two teams in a single tournament - just have to have signed before the round started (e.g. for two legged semis, need to be signed for the first leg) -

Yea loved you as a player Kingy, but **** off. Worse game management than even Cifuentes managed. -
****ing bottlers

1st half FC at it again. Time for the equaliser? I'm going 90+3
-
I mean I think Dan's thinking is that if King Power is financially ****ed they'd have to sell off any non-core assets (of which we are one, we're not crucial to the duty free business). They're not going to sell unless forced to, this makes that forcing less likely.
-
see I'm not convinced this is true. We have a ridiculous number of "fans" who'll claim that he owns the club so he can do what he likes, and will just ask "who'd be better" if you criticise the Nepo baby in anyway
-
Finishing bottom, but I think we'll have enough to beat Bristol City or Newcastle.
-
winks on for mavididi. Fatawu and Daka a two up top then?
-
could genuinely convince me that's against the rules with how little we do it.
-
That is actually his position, rather than the winger with no senior appearances or the attacking midfielder, yes. We have two strikers at the club, it's Daka or Ayew unless we starting putting people out of position (e.g. Mav up front and Monga on the wing)
-
as a positive, Lascelles looks good.

stupidest squad in the country
