  1. and that's how you know @Ric Flair has taken Rudkins job as DoF for the women's team
  2. and there's **** all internet in the stadium footprint because everyone's trying to access it, so better hope you downloaded it prior
  3. I know he looks like that geography teacher who's been at the same school as long as anyone can remember, but I don't think he's old enough to be from the 1800s.
  4. I mean people were also talking about finishing above Forest (not expecting them to suddenly become competent) and Bournemouth (under appreciating Iraola), the mood was generally that there's a ton of doss at the bottom of the division and properly managed we could finish in the 12th-16th range
  5. already done that, Olivia Clark, the Welsh international signed last week and was on the bench Sunday
  6. Eh, with Rudkin in charge of negotiations we'll probably pick up Joey Essex instead
  7. good player but he makes Praet look like the 6 million dollar man with his injury record...
  8. unsurprising they'd push that but don't expect it to stop there. Overturning obergefell would stop new marriages, there's still a decade of existing marriages (and the associated legal benefits, e.g. coverage where insurance allows you to add a spouse, right to inherit your partners estate if they pass) that they'll be gunning for as well. Chuck in the demanded complete halt on applications to change gender markers on passports and that ridiculous two genders executive order that tried to sneak in foetal personhood (and that's a ****ing terrifying concept, once you get to foetal personhood literally any activity which potentially increases miscarriage risk, even something as simple as having a morning coffee, can be considered reckless endangerment by a sufficiently motivated government) which made everyone technically a woman and it's clear that LGBT rights are massively under threat under Trump's government. And yet you've got Dems saying it's a distraction, it's not. they're not doing all this to distract from the inevitable skyrocketing of prices (when farmers can't use undocumented labour and have to hire Americans at triple the cost because of legal minimum wage, that's not being eaten by farmers or grocery stores, it's getting passed on), they're doing it because they believe in the whole nuclear family (husband, wife, 2.5 children) and want to control everyone into that structure
  9. the thing with this is how you create any cut off, like even with confessions, there is a long history of police coercing false confessions to crimes from people. Yes, doesn't apply when he's gone up in court and changed his plea from not guilty to guilty but still, where and how do you draw the line?
  10. Fans and the general attitudes towards the lgbt community throughout mens football tbh. And I specify mens football because ok the demographics are different but the amount of openly lesbian and bi women in women's football is notable, and anyone who's been to a mens game vs women's game, or been involved in both coaching/playing can tell you straight away why (it's the attitudes of the supporters and those involved). The closet literally exists because people can think it easier to keep it a secret than to face the sort of abuse they'd get for coming out (hence why the proportions of lgbt people in the general population have been rising over the last 50 odd years, as legal and social discrimination decrease, people are less likely to choose the closet), and the abuse you'd face being openly gay in mens football means that it can be a lot easier to just be in the closet - see the amount of shit people would chant for ages whenever Brighton are in town - and it's why those that are now openly gay (Thomas Hitzelberger) only come out after retiring. throwing a community under the bus? are you actually taking the piss? this is genuinely the sort of soft bigotry that far too many people hold, even those who purport to be allies; expecting everyone to be the perfect ambassador, whiter than white, in order to be treated as somewhat equal, and it's the same mindset as leads to racists going on about crime statistics for black people, or homophobes pointing at a tiny handful of gay men to evidence their whole paedo smears. Coote isn't an ambassador for gay men, he's not throwing the community under the bus, he's just a gay man who turned to drugs to cope with a lot of pressure, and people making it about his sexuality where they wouldn't if he was straight are showing their whole arse tbh
  11. They're gaining a new drunk driver?
  12. almost as good as Burnley qualifying for Europe for the first time since the English channel formed and ending up with a trip to Aberdeen
  13. Leitzig is comfortably the better keeper, a couple of mistakes doesn't change that she's one of the best in the division
  14. one of the best defences in the division (behind only the big 3 and man utd), conceding isn't really a concern, we just can't score for toffee (3 goals in 11 games coming into today).
  15. No, unless you're counting Coopers cup games and forgetting the two ward games for RvN.
  16. 7 points from 10 games is 0.7 PPG, cooper was on 10 from 12 which is 0.83 PPG?
  17. Spurs, having sacked ange and taken McKenna off Ipswich
  18. how shit must you be, we're winning a game!
  19. great finish, but that all comes from Soumares high press.
  20. well ****, what a howler...
  21. and there it is. No attempt to stop the cross, no challenge for the header. Pathetic defending.
  22. Genuinely if we had an alternative to Vardy, Fatawu and Ndidi fit (or alternatives to them) and a centre back who has basic positional sense, we'd probably stay up without much issue... A whole month to make those signings and we've gotten nowhere, heads have to roll in the board and recruitment departments.
  23. Shannon! finally playing with a forward of some description, so might actually have a slight goal threat. Assuming it's Mace and Tierney behind Momiki, then Goodwin and Cayman out wide.
  24. yea, times finally catching up with him and he's probably championship at best now. But, we've attempted succession planning once in Daka and then just gave up on it.
  25. every single game, but the system exposes him by having him as a winger and full back while not having his old athleticism, and then the supposed defensive winger who supports out of possession doesn't do a thing.
