  1. Not the players - there’ll be mainly the kids that deserve our support. It needs to be aimed at Top and Rudkin
  2. He saying Hermansen, Justin etc was sold due to an urgent problem with liquidity. How does he know that?
  3. Written by a staunch Everton fan btw so take some of it with a pinch of salt. They hate us after their points deductions
  4. No mate. The biggest news story on Saturday was fans protesting at the players IN the ground attending the match. Picked up by national media, as well as a stadium of Pompey fans and press An empty away end would’ve given the players an easy ride. An empty away end would’ve meant Winksy could’ve got on the bus without having to answer to some home truths and deal with his own embarrassing reaction.
  5. There’s little evidence that not attending games helps the situation. If you are trying to sell a club, a resilient fanbase is a good start. I’m sure 45k turning up at Newcastle helped sell that club, and still attending gives the opportunity to protest in the stadium. An empty stadium allows an owner who doesn’t give a shit to give even less of a shit. If it makes you feel better though, believe YOUR own narrative. Moan about the many non happy clappers that attend the game and slag them off on social media whilst continuing to watch Leicester on telly.
  6. It wasn’t tame, it was positively toxic and rightly so. Plenty of Pompey fans mentioned it on X - Applauding the LCFC fans’ reaction to the insipid performance of their team.
  7. He’s got another year anyway
  8. Rowett definitely doesn’t have that ppg at Leicester or Oxford.
  9. Points per game don’t lie mate. No revisionism. Cifuentes is a poor manager but Rowett is statistically worse AND he has ditched the young players.
  10. Beggo is an absolute giant but he won’t ever come off his line. Painful to watch. He needs to retire.
  11. Don’t deny your lad, just get the kit on DHGate. £15 all in and you won’t be able to tell the difference these days. They’ve got very good at it!
  12. I’m baffled with your comments suggesting maybe Rowett could do a job next year. There is zero evidence to suggest giving him a chance would be anything other than catastrophic. He’s now averaging well under a point per game. He’s not motivated the group and there’s been no lift or manager bounce. He’s been shown to be predictable with his team selection, formation and tactics. A terrible recruitment that has to end after Blackburn away, if not before then.
  13. Not correct mate. I attend games home and away but I am NOT at fault for LCFC being where they are. That’s down to the owners, the managers and players. I don’t ever remember Newcastle fans not attending matches in protest. Even in their darkest hours under Ashley, 45k were still turning up week in week out. How did it work out for them?
  14. Out of the contracted players still here I’d be happy to see the back of Thomas, Vesty, Okoli, Winksy, Skipp, Hamza, Mavididi and Bobby Reid tbh. Loan them out or sell.
  15. Seagrave was as much about developing new talent through our youth systems and I think it’s pretty clear that there has been an improvement in standards in that respect. The quality of the pipeline looks to be improving to the point that most of us are hoping that the club bring the academy players into the league 1 squad next year. Braybrooke, Aluko, Page, Monga, Joseph, Alves, Nelson etc etc look a step up from older academy graduates like Hamza and Thomas.
  16. Why not rid themselves of Belvoir drive instead?
  17. It’s only the women’s team at Belvoir. Get rid of that and concentrate everything at Seagrave. If they need to save money at Seagrave then mothball the 9 hole golf course!
  18. I don’t understand the logic. Sell off a world class facility because we have terrible owners who have bought a number of very poor footballers with a poor mentality and other than Maresca, hire awful managers. It’s not the facility that’s at fault it’s the lack of quality of the people using that facility. No one should be shocked that these players are failing. Most have always been flawed and will be wherever we train. Despite the hype, there’s very little actually quality in this squad and almost no minerals. Only James and to an extent Fatawu from the senior pros are genuinely good enough and it’s debatable whether Fatawu can have the composure or football intelligence to make the most of those talents. Those who did get positive references from the their previous clubs (Ayew, Reid, Ramsey, Beggo) were talking about what they DID do not what they were doing any more. All are no longer able to contribute at this level. Many others came with terrible or underwhelming reviews from their previous teams (Vesty, Aribo, Winksy, Skipp.) We know Daka is a poor footballer with terrible technique and not built for the type of football we play in this country with little physicality. We know Hamza and Thomas are League 2 quality, we know Ricardo’s legs have gone, Mavididi has real issues because he no longer even looks like a pro footballer and we know that our resident u21’s are too young to be able to influence such senior squad rubbish. The more senior U21’s that might have offered more have been loaned out. With the correct owner, management team and squad, Seagrave is an asset.
  19. Yes. Clearly there was no plan for who to bring in. Cifuentes was a poor manager but Rowett is even worse. That’s a statistical fact. Rowett has a worse PPG than he even had at Oxford. Getting two Championship clubs relegated in one season. Wow.
  20. You can’t polish a turd, especially when another dried old turd is being used to polish that turd.
  21. Good for you. Can’t help thinking your last paragraph explains the real reason. Most of us don’t have a few hours round trip to a home match! Got one today though, taking my lad for an enjoyable day on the coast to have a laugh and watch the mighty foxes lose.
  22. You definitely don’t need to be married to prefer watching a shite football match over a trip to fosse park, b&q, the tip, kids’ parties at bounce, the big shop etc etc. There’ll be regret out there next season despite people saying otherwise at the moment.
  23. All of you cancelling your season tickets forget that your excuse for not being dragged somewhere shite by your other half for one day of the weekend will be gone. No excuse for not going to the tip, no putting off that trip to B&Q, no excuse for being dragged to fkin Fosse Park, no getting out of taking the kids to their mates’ bounce parties etc etc. The time away from City will quickly lose its gloss. Whereas those of us who have kept our season tickets can look forward to sitting in our own worlds at a peaceful KP half watching a struggling 0-0 draw at home against the giants of Bromley and the like.
