It’s only the women’s team at Belvoir. Get rid of that and concentrate everything at Seagrave. If they need to save money at Seagrave then mothball the 9 hole golf course!

I don’t understand the logic. Sell off a world class facility because we have terrible owners who have bought a number of very poor footballers with a poor mentality and other than Maresca, hire awful managers. It’s not the facility that’s at fault it’s the lack of quality of the people using that facility. No one should be shocked that these players are failing. Most have always been flawed and will be wherever we train. Despite the hype, there’s very little actually quality in this squad and almost no minerals. Only James and to an extent Fatawu from the senior pros are genuinely good enough and it’s debatable whether Fatawu can have the composure or football intelligence to make the most of those talents. Those who did get positive references from the their previous clubs (Ayew, Reid, Ramsey, Beggo) were talking about what they DID do not what they were doing any more. All are no longer able to contribute at this level. Many others came with terrible or underwhelming reviews from their previous teams (Vesty, Aribo, Winksy, Skipp.) We know Daka is a poor footballer with terrible technique and not built for the type of football we play in this country with little physicality. We know Hamza and Thomas are League 2 quality, we know Ricardo’s legs have gone, Mavididi has real issues because he no longer even looks like a pro footballer and we know that our resident u21’s are too young to be able to influence such senior squad rubbish. The more senior U21’s that might have offered more have been loaned out. With the correct owner, management team and squad, Seagrave is an asset.

Yes. Clearly there was no plan for who to bring in. Cifuentes was a poor manager but Rowett is even worse. That’s a statistical fact. Rowett has a worse PPG than he even had at Oxford. Getting two Championship clubs relegated in one season. Wow.

You can’t polish a turd, especially when another dried old turd is being used to polish that turd.

Good for you. Can’t help thinking your last paragraph explains the real reason. Most of us don’t have a few hours round trip to a home match! Got one today though, taking my lad for an enjoyable day on the coast to have a laugh and watch the mighty foxes lose.

You definitely don’t need to be married to prefer watching a shite football match over a trip to fosse park, b&q, the tip, kids’ parties at bounce, the big shop etc etc. There’ll be regret out there next season despite people saying otherwise at the moment.
-
All of you cancelling your season tickets forget that your excuse for not being dragged somewhere shite by your other half for one day of the weekend will be gone. No excuse for not going to the tip, no putting off that trip to B&Q, no excuse for being dragged to fkin Fosse Park, no getting out of taking the kids to their mates’ bounce parties etc etc. The time away from City will quickly lose its gloss. Whereas those of us who have kept our season tickets can look forward to sitting in our own worlds at a peaceful KP half watching a struggling 0-0 draw at home against the giants of Bromley and the like.

Things to Look Forward to in League One

Sammy Braybrooke giving us a season of fabulous single pivot football before being sold to a big club like Stoke City after we lose in the League 1 play offs. -
Okoli? Our struggling centre back? Injured too and out for the season? Gerrimin!!!

Not pulled up any trees is an understatement. We’ve not seen a new manager bounce under Rowett, we’ve seen a new manager thud. Hopefully he’s only got 4 games left at the most.
-
There are genuinely some Leicester fans on Twitter who want us to stick with Rowett when we drop into League 1. Truth is he needed binning at the end of the season even if he kept us up.
-
Not likely to be fit for Pompey. I watched his halftime warm up on Saturday and he was feeling his heel at the end of that session. When he came on (later than expected in the 2nd half) he was barely involved. Looks like it was a desperate move by Rowett to try and get a result. Looks like the (un)holy trinity of Mukasa, Winks and Skipp in midfield again unless he finally gives Aribo a chance.

Yeh - It’ll be very difficult to find someone who can better the outstanding new manager bounce of Rowett’s 1 win in 10.

Fair play to Ipswich. Played the long game with K-Mac. We wondered why they spent 12m on him. It didn’t make any sense. Sure enough he was benched most of the season and hated by tractor boy fans. He’s handed a start when we needed them to beat Pompey and they lost with him unsurprisingly contributing very little. Turns out he was signed to ensure our relegation, probably revenge for that over celebrating of Ayew’s last minute equaliser last season. You have to applaud a long term shithouse move by Ed Sheeran’s Ipswich Town™️

I really feel for Rowett, a victim of circumstance. If he had 40 games left he’d have every chance of getting the 4 wins needed to stay up.

My quote has stood the test of time, he’s got more tricks than Barnsey. However Barnsey doesn’t need tricks. Just cuts inside with pace and scores when he shoots. The lesson I’ve learned is wingers with tricks are bettered by wingers with less tricks but who apply effort, application, pace and intelligence. Like Ji-Sung for Swansea on Saturday

You are still waiting for Mav and the team to be dog shit? They’ve been dog shit since the first match of the season!

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
funkyrobot replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I’m talking about this club mate. RVN’s time in charge at the club was abject and hopeless. At LCFC there’s no evidence that RVN is, as you state ‘150 times better than Cifuentes.’ Neither are great but RVN was at least as bad if not worse. -

Absolutely no evidence to back that up. RVN was an embarrassment at this club. Great player, terrible manager. -
Still can’t get my head round how we loaned out the older reserve players like Braybrooke, Alves, Opoku, Cartwright and relied upon our younger generation to cover squad positions for the majority of the season like Page, Monga, Aluko and even a loan signing in Mukasa. It just seems a strange way of managing a squad. Ultimately, impending relegation shows it hasn’t worked for us as a club!

My memories of it is that it was a characterless, bang average, windswept golf course. Now it’s a windswept training ground for coaching characterless bang average players.
