The 'scoring own goals to get relegated on purpose' thing...does anybody on here have to put up with this or do I get a disproportionate amount of this silly thing because I have just a silver & bronze team? I got to about Div 3 on merit, having a wait it out a bit but reasonably often getting a silver/bronze game game with a like-minded person and rounding out the rest with having to play gold+ or quitters. Once I got to that division the amount of deliberate losers I encountered got way out of hand to the point I now find myself in Division 1 I might have a couple of games but the weekend league will just be a slaughter. There's only so much Luke Berry etc can do I suspect

It'd be a great achievement for them to get in the Europa but it has the potential to really mess them up next season.

I've been enjoying the game for the first time in ages since I switched to just using silver and bronze teams. Got to Div 4 by mostly being matched with broadly similar non-gold teams (didn't even really know they made that concession or I'd have done it earlier) The game is still annoying of course but for me it cuts the BS almost in half and the games you get are far more varied and interesting.

It seems, to me at least, that the servers have gradually got worse over the years.

Tricky? It was a very basic error that directly resulted in a goal. Not having/using a proper defender as cover is risky and potentially very costly in the bigger games, as it nearly proved today.

Nearly cost a second goal there because he couldn't control a ball again.

Arty Fox Haha, yes I did. I meant to say it's the worst of that bad bunch since FIFA 13, which was very good. And yes, I still buy it like a mug. The original attempt at a post was with my phone as well...I can't do that!
