Match vs Derby County will be shown live on ITV

Yeah, lots of memories of watching those games as a kid. I often found it more entertaining and eventful than the Italian game on Channel 4, even if Leicester weren't featured. -
Kelly's pen was exactly what I hoped Williamson's would be, glad we got another chance. Was happy to get to the shootout but would have been gutted if we'd lost after they'd missed 3 kicks.

Ball watching and not tracking runners like everybody else.

Corner just about sums up the quality.

Whitewash incoming.

Their RB is tidy as well, we've been struggling on that side all half. Only seen her for England but Carter always looks like a plodding CB being played out of position.
-
Filip Benkovic scored for AIK Stockholm yesterday in a 3-0 win over IFK Gothenburg.
-
He's on Channel 4 right now doing the studio chat for the U21 final, can't get away from the bloke!

A Fullers Black Cab stout and a couple cans of Perla.

Plenty of injury time for West Ham.

Come on West Ham, even a draw will do.
-
Newcastle at home last game so should be OK for that hopefully.

Love the FA Cup, and it's always so good for the competition when a club like Palace can win it in the post PL era. Man City did the perfect job in winning that SF and losing the final!

The first of a few bottles of Weihenstephaner. I like my Franziskaner and Paulaner but this is my favourite choice of supermarket weissbier. Sainsburys have upped the price yet again though.

One more before HT please.

Brackley promoted to the National League after a 5-0 victory against already relegated Farsely. Managed to pip Kidderminster at the post after they lost at Southport. Dagenham have survival their own hands after a 6-1 win against Altrincham, with Wealdstone dropping into the last relegation spot after defeat at Southend, who moved into the last playoff spot.
-
Bradford got away with it today with Walsall managing to lose at home to Accrington. A win at home to mid-table Fleetwood will be enough for promotion now.

Be the ideal scenario.

Truro 3 up in 12 minutes against St Albans.

Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread

Just knew WBA were going to roll over for Derby today. -
I see the top 3 all won again, certainly going down to the wire. Final 3 fixtures don't look too bad for Brackley. Ramsgate have won their last 2 home games so just more 3 points to get over the line. Went down against Broadbridge Heath a week ago and saw a narrow 1-0 win. The extreme wind made it hard work and it was a nervy last 10 minutes or so. Due to holiday I missed an impressively comfortable 5-1 victory yesterday against Three Bridges, a side that's usually not a pushover. Over 1,700 at both games. They had crowds around 200 when I first moved down here (2016) and had a mostly young side at the wrong end of the table. They've definitely had some major overhauls in playing budget and overall structure since then. Gutted I'm also away for the Margate home game, which is an all ticket sellout (and segregated). Being crowned champions in the big derby game would be icing on the cake.

Good start, had Murphy to score in my build a bet.

Brackley are having a fantastic season, exciting times for them. Ramsgate have lost in the playoffs two seasons running after narrowly missing out on the title in 2 horse races. I think they'd do absolutely fine in the division above. They do a great job with engaging youth down there with running so many age group teams and other training schools. You can see the results when you see so many kids down there on match day with their families. Expecting another big crowd on Saturday and hopefully another 3 points closer to promotion.

3-1 win for Ramsgate away at Beckenham in the Isthmian SE today, which keeps them 7 points clear at the top. Need to win 3 out the last 5 to be champions. Last 2 games are Margate at home in the Thanet derby (over 3k expected for that) and away at Sittingbourne (only team that can catch them) so hopefully win the next 3 to be sure. Looking forward to getting down again next week against Broadbridge Heath.
