  1. And here we have a ball winning midfielder that we ideally need 😁
  2. We’ve had Wally with a brolly, now we’ve got the Twat in the t-shirt.
  3. How’s this Watford reject Kucka still on the pitch 🤬
  4. Great player at Championship level, but many question marks about his ability at Premier League level. In his two seasons with us at Prem level, he had a few good spells mixed in with some very average ones. I hope he excels at Chelsea and manages to get into the England team, but my head is very much saying that he’ll unfortunately get lost in the shuffle. In terms of losing him, I’m not that gutted. Losing the likes of Kante and Mahrez were tough ones to take, but you’d put KDH nowhere near that category. You also wouldn’t class him as irreplaceable, if we can get someone in who poses the same creativity threat that KDH posed for us last season, then the hole that he’s left can be easily filled.
  5. If he doesn’t start alongside Hamza in our first Pre Season Friendly, then Cooper out!
  6. What pisses me off about Chelsea, is the fact they have so many youngsters that you just know won’t get a look in, but they’ve been signed on 6-7 year deals on inflated prices and Chelsea won’t let them go. The likes of Ugochukwu and Chukwuemeka for example would be ideal for us, yet it’s highly unlikely Chelsea will let them leave on a permanent. So you’re then basically left with a bunch of underwhelming or unproven options that have come through their academy, Casadei and Broja being the prime examples. I can see them trying to flog us Casadei or Broja, or they’ll try and make profit on Datro Fofana for around £15 million.
  7. Could be time soon is a new one, just about 5 more tweets to go for the Here we go, soon!
  8. Absolutely despise the handball rule.
  9. Of course YouTube vids can be quite deceiving, but after going through his goals, assists, creative passes, shots, dialogue(link up play) and dribbling from the 23/24 season, his YouTube compilations actually paint a pretty accurate picture of what he’s capable of. He has the ability to drop deep and link play, more often than not his link play is very neat and tidy, very rarely gives the ball away. He had 81% pass success last season, which is a pretty good number for a striker. Then he has the ability to run in behind defences and down the channels, as he has the pace to do so. But one of his better traits is his ability to hold the ball up, then turn his marker by using his physicality, pace and dribbling ability. At times he will just bulldoze past defenders and hold them off like they’re nothing. He also has that creative awareness, he produced 19 key passes and 24 smart passes last season, going through other leagues across Europe, not many outright strikers posted numbers like that. The only negative I would give is his shooting ability, at times he can be a little greedy, when a pass would have been the better option. If he gets more strongly linked, then I’ll post some clips of his attributes. But I think you make a very good point with the last paragraph, if Sporting cash in on Gyokeres, then I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up there unfortunately.
  10. This Italy team have nothing about them, Scamacca especially is looking like the West Ham version.
  11. Pace, physicality, dribbling ability, link up play, vision, he has the lot. I refuse to get overly excited about this rumour, but if something more concrete appears, then the tissues will be coming out.
  12. As we seem to like going for players who have suffered ACL injuries(Moder). #WelcomeBroja
  13. I’ve said numerous times that he should be our number 1 target for a new striker. This rumour has got me all hot and bothered, I’m actually sweating.
  14. Despite his injuries, I’d rather try and get Chukwuemeka on a seasons loan than get Casadei back. I’d be content with either Datro Fofana of Broja on a permanent. Those are the deals I’d be going for.
  15. 😍 Gives me retro Iveco vibes but with pinstripes. Will definitely be buying that for the Watford supporting mother.
  16. We’d probably need someone a bit more proven, but a left field option should KDH depart. Santiago Rodriguez - New York City FC. His creative numbers so far this season have been 🔥 Also ranks 3rd for most Key Passes and 2nd for most Smart Passes.
  17. No doubt he’ll do his ACL in pre season, be out 12 months, then on return he gets sent out on loan to Legia Warsaw to join Bartosz Kapustka.
  18. Mentioned him as a potential loan option last season when Ndidi was out and Casadei went back. But as a permanent transfer in the Premier League.
  19. Had a little look at him last year, in terms of goals he’s been excellent, but even though he gets dubbed as a creative midfielder, his creative stats are actually quite weak. 3 assists last season 2.72 shot-creating actions per90 9 Key Passes 11 Smart Passes Daan Rots was Twente’s most creative player last season, but he is more of a RW/RAM. If KDH does go, then ideally I’d like to see him replaced with someone with similar creative input. They might be out of our price range and potentially unrealistic, but Oscar Gloukh, Cameron Puertas and Sebastian Szymanski are the three standouts that I’ve looked at.
  20. Weighing up the bigger picture, I wouldn’t be that devastated if he did depart. Going off the basis of Cooper playing either a 4-2-3-1 or 3-4-1-2, the only way he fits into those systems is if you play him as a number 10, you certainly wouldn’t play him deeper alongside Winks, as that partnership lacks defensive protection. He produced some incredible creative numbers in the Championship last season, he ranked as one of the best midfielders in the Championship for xA, smart passes and key passes. As numerous posters have said though, he probably isn’t technical enough to play as an outright number 10. Replace him with a more technical number 10, who produced similar numbers to KDH last season, then losing him might actually not look that bad.
  21. They’ll probably propose £20 million plus Casadei
  22. Nope, I fell asleep during those days.
