I agree tbh. I love KDH. Both as a player and the journey he has been on – Leicester lad etc. Always will. I do want to see him in a Leicester shirt again at some point – if it suits our situation and is the right thing for him too. But he wouldn't be my choice to solve the problems we currently have. I genuinely don't think we'd be much different re. points total even if we'd had him for this season.

Doesn't make a huge difference how much money or head room for wages we have, in my humble opinion. As long as Mr Rudkin is at the club, we will continue to make bad calls and operate as amateurs.

No way back for Ward now, thank goodness. On a professional level, I feel for him. I'm sure this isn't how he saw it panning out with his multi-million pound transfer to us. But then, on a human level....£40k a week means that I'm sure he'll be better off than most. So when it comes to things that matter in life (food, shelter etc.) he's probably more than sorted. It's not like a few fans pointing out to him that he's awful at football (and possibly being a bit mean in the process) will threaten his life. So good luck and see you never.

Love the fact that RvN did give Ward a chance as he was the "recognised" number 2. But equally hasn't shied away from doing the obvious and dropping him and bringing in JS. Thought JS did well today. Should build on today's performance if he indeed is required again.

There are people on here who defend Rudkin from time to time. The one point they do make, which I agree with, is that while he is awful at most aspects of his job, he seems to act without accountability and wears a number of hats - which is the fault of those above him. In other words, he's getting away with being awful. Perhaps Rudkin actually genuinely believes he's doing a grand job - because no one within the business seems to challenge him. It's a bizarre situation.
