Awful. Puts things into perspective a bit. Thoughts are with his family and friends.
-
Knowin Rudkin, he's pushing deal sheets in a toaster and wondering why there's no dial tone.
-
Would love to hear what you are basing this on.

Tanner's a spanner. The journalistic equivalent of Jon Rudkin - very, very rarely comes up with anything original, analytical or worth reading. His piece on El Khannouss today, for example – an "analysis" of why we signed him – was simply a regurgitation of bits that had appeared earlier in the week in various Belgian, Moroccan and UK media. Even looks a bit like Jonno.

Perfect for us, then, considering who's currently in charge of our transfer business. To be honest, I'd rather have him up front than Daka. But then, the bar is quite low for that comparison.

Another masterstroke.

Don't do this to us. Half the forum will go Liam Neeson on you, if this doesn't happen. One of us will find you. And one of us will give you a wedgie.

He does! Or, one of those wastes of space that you just know are comlpetely useless, but manage to, unfathomably, hide in the shadows and hang on until the latter stages of the process somehow. Like that one dude who claimed that he wasn't a "one trick pony", but instead had "an entire field of ponies" running towards Lord Sugar. Somehow that strikes me as exactly the sort of thing our very own useless twerp would say.

Excellent. A centre forward that plays like a centre back. Brilliant.

Breaking "X" doesn't take a lot these days. Elon has buggered it right up.

....El Khannouss, El Khannouss, another goal he bang-o Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very frightening them (Bilal el) Bilal el, (Bilal el) Bilal el, Bilal el Khannouss hero, Magnificoooooo

Love that book.

No one knowing where he is could explain our track record on getting deals over the line.

I really hope you're right. But for me, we're in a phase where it's impossible to calm down – we're watching a clown car in motion, with Whelan, Rudkin and Neville doing the steering. While they're running things, I wouldn't rule out Baba Ghanoush joining a long list of players to have seen the inside of Seagrave, then leave without signing...

You only have to read the latest "analysis" from the Fulham game to know where the trust stands (or more accurately, sits down). If it wasn't so bad (and serious,) it'd be quite funny reading this. The fact that the "writer" uses double spaces at the beginning of each sentence tells everything you need to know about them. https://foxestrust.co.uk/11083/its-too-early-to-get-despondent -
Walsall away.

Leicester vs Aston Villa - Pre-match Thread (August 31st)
HitchinFox replied to 420Hashish's topic in Leicester City Forum
I hear what you're saying, but Villa and Spurs play in an entirely different way. Emery also tweaks things according to the opposition more than Postecoglou, so expect their line to be not quite as high against us as, it is against some other teams. Spurs' slightly gung-ho attitude played into our hands a bit. Also, Postecoglou failed to exploit our weaknesses (which we have plenty of) even with his subs. Don't expect Emery to make the same mistake – he is much more tactically astute. Still, anything is possible. Personally, I would definitely take a draw. -
Enjoyed reading that. 👍

If we play like we did against Fulham, or like we did in that first half against Spuds, then Villa will be out of sight by halftime. A draw against these would be a great and unexpected result. Head says 0-3. Heart says a shit-housed 2-2. -
How many signings will we make before the end of the transfer window?
HitchinFox replied to Tuna's topic in Transfer Talk
Fair. Not sure Okoli or Golding will add anything this season. Jury is still out on BDCR, Ayew and Skipp. We had to sign Fatawu (which is good) and Buonanotte has shown promise. So at the moment, our success ratio is around 2/7. That could improve, of course (depending on performances), but "uninspiring" is probably the best word to describe our business so far. -
If there ever was a reason to watch Dundee, this is it. Good luck to him, think this is a great move. Look forward to watching him play and develop!!
