Ruud awakening for the Premier League!

Oh god not him too. Can we get anybody? I usually quite like him. I remember him being really good when Mahrez was being a tit. -

That's what I mean. The Ranieri one was genuinely controversial so I sympathised a bit more but it was also the episode that alerted me to how ridiculous the media actually are. It would bother me a lot less if I was confident that the club could just act despite this. It was brutal and he didn't really deserve the sack, but Bournemouth going from O'Neil to Iraola was ballsy and I rated that. **** what the others think, just upgrade. I like that. -

Anyone who watched us against the big six this season would know we've largely been complete dross against all of them. Woeful for large parts against Spurs (good response in the second half to be fair), absolutely murdered at Arsenal, beaten very handily by a dire United and then totally outplayed by Chelsea as well. But then because we're 'only Leicester' (won the league more recently than 3 of the 6) we should be just content to look like absolute dog shit. By the same point I don't think Ipswich should sack McKenna despite the fact they're in the bottom three. Far more green flags for McKenna's Ipswich than Cooper's Leicester - again, totally obvious to anyone who has watched either. It's where I think Lineker has fallen down a bit. I think he should've been making our case a lot more than he has done. With the Ranieri stuff he sided with these gobshites. -

RVN being a bit of an outsider to their clique is a green flag to me. I can already sense it a bit that they won't have Amorim and I know who I trust more out of him and Neville. -

Never fails to amaze me how poor it actually is. I'm not expecting everyone to agree with everything I say or whatnot but it's just full of lazy tropes and I don't know how many times these things have to play out before they stop making these sorts of comments - though they won't because ultimately their agenda is that only 6 clubs are allowed to show any sort of ambition. Genuinely why I'm likelier to read this place than most media. -

He's an interesting one - I think one of the higher ceilings and one of the lowest floors. It looks to me like he improved PSV from the year before and missed out on the title to an excellent Feyenoord (managed by Slot who looks the real deal). His European record, again, he didn't do badly. He won the cup and the league there, hasn't got a bad record in big games and seemed if anything to stumble early doors against some of the dross in Holland, although picked up late season. Watched his coaches voice video. The problem with coaches voice is it'll make anyone look good. But I do think he seems a bit more pragmatic and it looked like in the cup final against Ajax he did set up more defensively and won. That's a green flag. It's vague research on him but I'm happy enough with it I think. My worry, as was pointed out, is it does seem like we've stumbled on it somewhat. Though if he's any good that doesn't really matter and to be honest it would take a drastic turn for me to trust those making the decisions anyway. Good luck to him. I hope he's ruthless with some of these players and installs a bit of desire at the club again because it's really felt lacking to me. Too many players here he shouldn't be. -
The media for large parts an absolute disgrace as ever. We really have got the most pathetic punditry in Europe in this country I'm convinced of it. No wonder fan media has blown up. If we're on the wrong side of them, that is usually a massive green flag.

Zimbru Chisinau. Any of you got this one?

This Cooper episode really has got to be the final straw. You do wonder if the penny is actually starting to drop somewhat for Top now. I am nowhere near sold on him, but I'm pleased to see that he looks like he has genuine concerns and I've not felt that way for a long time.
-
It really surprises me how much Cooper persisted with the same system. I thought a back five was a quite obvious move for us and one that he went to at Forest quite a lot. Our recruitment at centre half is embarrassing. We spend a good £10mil+ on a centre back every season and seem to hardly have a single good one. It's shocking.
-
I could tolerate it a little more if they hadn't sacked him and improved themselves. Good enough for us but not them? I see you.

Reeks of Van Nistelrooy.

Like when we signed him. It's just unprofessional at this point.

It's remarkable he still gets in the Belgium team

Steve Cooper has only won a PL game at 4 grounds!
-
Extremely obvious sacking. To everyone bar those whose decision it is.
-
Worst outcome again. Dreadful performance but score isn't going to shift the dial. Down we go. Again.
-
Worst possible outcome again.
-
We are pathetic.
-
Just depressing. Another promising player basically ruined.
-
This is just the norm nowadays isn't it. Top to bottom shambles.
-
I've got 18/1 here. I had O'Neil at 20/1 and he went down to about 2/1 before Ten Hag got the boot. So Cooper is definitely shortening to about the same before Southampton bin Martin (and probably get one of our targets)

London bus effect. We've scored in every game followed by two blanks. Clean sheets impossible. 0-2. -
Doesn't even make me angry anymore. I think I used all my anger in 2022/23 when the penny dropped. I've had my expectations completely blown to bits to a point it can't hurt me.
