  1. Got to be pound for pound one of the worst signings we've made.
  2. Don't agree with 3-5-2 being the answer. Back three is the start of the slippery slope to being habitually negative and I don't even see how we have the personnel either. Inverting wing backs on both sides against sides who'll park the bus against us is ridiculous. My worry on Maresca is seems to have just tried to exactly replicate Man City's system of last season with our squad and stuck to it at all costs.
  3. Know what you mean. I cannot resonate with it one bit.
  4. If there's ever a time for him to come in it has to be now. If he doesn't start at Sunderland he should be out the door.
  5. Shite. This isn't a tough place to go to.
  6. Hate feeling like this going into games again. Completely lost faith that we'll deliver and fear the worst. Do feel like these are one of the better sides we could be facing on this game though, in bad form themselves and in borderline turmoil.
  7. Concerned at the ease in which a pretty limited, but organised side has shut us out of the game. Concerned that we look almost overly coached. I'm a fan of his and I'm not near to wanting him out, but if he does oversee a collapse and a failure to go up then I think he's got to go.
  8. welcome to the house of fun. I dodged us completely. I had quite a bad feeling about that game. Sods law I landed some juicier picks in Portsmouth (8/11) and Sheff Weds (5/4) but the 1/8? Nothing.
  9. I'm absolutely astounded at my luck on this. So I bag 8/1 and 9/1 winners last night yet get let down by the ****ing 1/8 in Rangers just to win!!! They've wrecked my Valencia acca as well which also paid out. There really is nothing close to a banker anymore. I never thought it could be this hard just to pick four winners.
  10. 7 goals conceded in 3 games. Regularly conceding late goals. We're definitely not as solid as we thought we were - even at this level. Really am fed up of being let down. Really does feel like our mantra as a club in the last four years is falling short. Just how do you recover the blow of bottling this?
  11. I am absolutely shocked that the fact we came out of January weaker in numbers in midfield than we went into it with has led to overplaying and injuring players. The ownership can go for me as long as they unconditionally back this bloke.
  12. I could forgive Middlesbrough as a bit of a freak. I could forgive Leeds for the most part, even despite the now habitual collapse at the end of the game I conceded that tactically we'd played it well for the most part. But when you accumulate those and a loss at home to QPR I'm getting seriously twitchy. I've seen this play out too often with us. 1/50 we were to get promoted and yet now it has all the hallmarks of another spectacular collapse, and if it plays out, quite honestly I have no idea where we go as a club. The performance was absolutely dire. The worst of the season. What's most concerning about it to me is that QPR didn't have to do anything particularly special. I thought they defended resolutely, they closed off our passing lanes, and hit us whenever they could - pretty basic tactics and it worked a treat, with a vastly inferior team to what we could name. You're seeing the flaws of Enzoball play out here. We have looked scintiliating at times this season - but to be honest, we ****ing should. We have the biggest advantage over 80% of this division than any side has had in my lifetime. That's the brutal nature of suffering a relegation as catastrophic as ours. The onus is on us. The expectation should be high. Yet I can't help but think after today that playing a fairly conventional system would probably have us yield a similar points tally. I've struggled to shake that feeling for a lot of the season. We're in a real battle now and I've seen how this club reacts to this in recent times. It just sickens me having witnessed what we did in 2016, and 2014 not too far before, how we've become the bridesmaid in these things. I can totally see us blowing it now and I can't believe I'm saying this. I've had concerns about our big game record for a lot of this season but I've sort of shrugged it off because we've been ruthless against the rest. Well even that's falling now. Please do not let this be another catastrophic error. It will take some severe picking up the pieces if it ends up being.
  13. Same as what I said a week ago. We are flaky. Our heads go. We absolutely can **** this.
  14. Will be injury time no doubt. Nobody on the script mentioned a red card.
  15. Done six in total for the weekend, mixed a few of them up on different accas, but gone for... Saturday Valencia v Real Madrid Braga v Estrela Sunday Koln v Leverkusen Man City v Man Utd Anderlecht v Eupen Sporting v Farense Do as you please with them. Reckon at least one of them has to have a lead at any point. Farense I don't really fancy, but the odds on them are so ridiculously high (20/1) that I just can't leave it. Usually don't like to go below 7/1 as a rule of thumb but however in Valencia v Real Madrid I'll make an exception as Real Madrid have quite a history of struggling there. In-fact Valencia have held a lead in that fixture in 6 of the last 8 seasons. Good luck anybody else if you bother!
  16. Reckon this'll be 1/2-0 to us. They've become pretty tough defensively under Cifuentes.
  17. Yeah agree with most of your assessment. I had far higher expectations for PSV, wondered if the acoustics were a bit of a problem but then I remember it having a couple of decent moments. Copenhagen were loud, them and Atletico the best in the CL. Sevilla's ultras boycotted against us, think they'd have possibly been the best if they hadn't, that place looks a pit at times. Spain seems to be quite bad for league games but has a real high ceiling in Europe.
  18. And the latter bit is genuinely very hard. Like I said earlier, I got let down on this by 1/5 and 1/6 shots after landing two sides at 9/1 last weekend. Even despite this you are being offered crazy odds. You don't have to win often to profit.
  19. Basically if one of your teams are winning, you can 'freeze' them and it pays out that leg as a winner. What I've been doing is taking a massive priced team and then freezing them on the off chance they go ahead. You can only use it 5 times a week, max stake on the acca is £20 and the acca has to have at least 5 teams. So it's quite hard to land one but you will land one at a better rate than the odds imply unless you're stupidly unlucky. I'm banned from using acca freeze from Monday so I'm just going all out at them this weekend. The fact they've banned me tells you it works.
  20. It was strange. Was like... thanks but... wtf are you doing. No idea what happened to mine. Think I just didn't take one. Roma very good, I really rated Rennes as well but Legia Warsaw was just unbelievable. It's the one time I've been to an away game and almost forgiven our fans for barely stringing a song together because you literally couldn't hear each other. Was great actually witnessing somewhere with such high expectation and it living up to it.
  21. Awful kick off time. Shit ticket prices. Transport has its obstacles. It's like they're trying to make it as shit as possible.
  22. I've made the mistake on these of picking the same 'other' teams though. One of them is bound to blow it.
  23. Freiburg as well!!!!!!!! **** me, what a start. Cannot wait to see who blows all this.
  24. BOOM Jong Ajax ahead and frozen. Up yours ***** @SkyBet
  25. I think unless you really want to keep the feature alive for your own betting then there's no harm in it really. Maybe there was a way I could've made it less obvious but I'm not really sure what. Lots of people have been bagged doing it. You can't put two opponents in the same acca, but what I have done a few times is mix and matched, so for example, done two accas. Lets use these Dutch games as an example. Den Haag v Jong Ajax De Graafschap v Top Oss I've not done this tonight, but in the past, I have done two accas like this... Team A Team B Team C Jong Ajax De Graafschap Team A Team B Team C Den Haag Top Oss So the flip side is if your underdog goes behind, you at least get another one of your heavy favourites selections winning. The ideal scenario is the big outsider goes ahead and loses - which is still a fairly plausible scenario. The down side is any draw and you're bust on the lot of them. Likewise for picking your other sides, probably best finding about 7/8 'safe' winners and just mixing and matching them a bit. Last weekend I landed Rio Ave to beat Sporting Lisbon at 12/1 (ended up 3-3) while Panathinaikos, at home to bottom of the table Kifisia, drew 1-1 having gotten a late red card and conceded. If I'd had Panathinaikos in every acca, I'd have been bust. I've done about 25 accas, only won 3, but the point is the wins are at such excellent odds that you can't not profit. I think you've got to be severely unlucky to not profit doing it. I'm rambling on a little now but to give an idea of the true value, take this accumulator with Ajax Reserves. They're 5/2 to go 0-1 up (therefore probably about 2/1 to lead the game at any time) yet I've got them at 17/2 to do this. If you have an accumulator with 4 teams at 1/5 and Ajax Reserves to go ahead at 17/2, this is giving you odds of 17/1 for something that is 'actually' about 5/1 to win. I think if you did this 100 times you'd be nearly certain to win quite handily. I think the fact they've banned me from doing it proves it works.
