Technically true although the level of decline required to put ourselves in the position to potentially be the victims of this was remarkable on its own. Even now despite the strong likelihood we go back up I cannot process how inept we actually were. Still angers me how some at the club have gotten away with it.

There is still only much SK1 can really do, when nobody on either side ever pipes up it's hard to actually catch things on.
-
These are below where I think they'll actually finish. They're a bit dull, not sure it really suits us to be honest. I'm not going to this, other games I missed were Southampton and Swansea - by all accounts probably our two best attacking displays this season, so hopefully a return to that.
-
"What you've all been waiting for". No I'm really not, I'm waiting for them to end this pathetic charade.
-
I've been backing Ndidi for similar reasons, a historically defensive minded player being played in an attacking position. He's had the chances, just not the finishing.

No, a target man type of striker (I alternate him between pressing forward and advanced forward), we're the better side in most of our games, my style is borderline gegenpress to be honest. The midfielders goals did dry up but he was running stupidly hot at one point - he was actually averaging 8 shots a game, which is mental to me, but that did level out somewhat. I'm Vitoria de Setubal, 4th tier of Portugal, and I have managed to botch promotion in the first season. I am going to be utterly shameless here and blame the bottlejob players. We dominated pretty much every game, biggest xG underperformers at both ends of the pitch and a team full of big match loathers - the latter is particularly a problem at this level where there is no automatic promotion. You're in a league of 14 teams alongside another three leagues at this level, the top two of each go into the play-offs, then four of the eight teams are promoted via two groups. We came 3rd in our group on head to head. Total chokers. Overhauled my side for the second season, I'll be very surprised if I can't go up this time around.

There's now a pattern - The reality is.... We're offensively awful.

The idea makes sense to me, the problem we have is that we're not really getting enough out of the three central attacking players. I think KDH is the only player who has put up acceptable attacking numbers so far. -
Didn't realise it was Leeds v Southampton on the final day.
-
I thought him and Fatawu would both have more goals and assists than they have by now.
-
It wasn't as good pre-goal granted but their goal, and 10 mins or so after were the best I've seen all season by a mile. Really loud. A ground where the layout was restructured to give them a proper 'end'. Our away end wasn't very good again. Come to the conclusion we are beyond repair.

7/8 clear chances we haven't had that in the last 4 games combined! -
I don't disagree with your point in general and I think we are about par now for the squad's ability but I did overhear some of their fans calling us the best side they've played yesterday. It's easy to forget how bad most of this league is. I think the concern we ultimately all really have is how we'd fare in the PL and you do see more and more red flags.
-
It does concern me about our strikers - how many good games has a striker of ours had as a starter this season? Must be about 2/3.
-
A red flag to me is how abject we were after they scored. 83rd minute granted, lateish but did we even get near their box afterwards? I think that fosse way article from just before the Leeds game made a lot of points that I hadn't really considered, the one about how there's never been more than a goal in our games before the 75th minute (Southampton excepted) and that we seem to have this obsession with keeping things tighter than we need to. We have the ability to blow some of these sides away. When you aren't doing that you always run the risk of something like that happening. I still think we go up but bloody hell the last four games have some red flags.
-
I'm a fan of his and I have been a while but I'm struggling to defend him at the minute.

Awful is harsh but you're being an ostrich if you're missing the red flags here. That Fosse Way article the other week is ageing worryingly well. I thought the general point about how we keep games tighter than we really need to rather than going for the kill was correct and when you do this, you are going to come out on the wrong side of a few of them. You can't argue with the results over the season, and the period between the September and October international breaks we were superb, but I think our results are better than the performances in all honesty. I wouldn't mind, but Leeds and Ipswich are looking genuinely dangerous. I can see a scenario where you need maybe 98 to get 2nd - a tally I still think we're absolutely capable of but we've got to pick up, we've gone very flat again. -
Yeah Leeds didn't batter us but they definitely deserved to win. It is a shame we had such a no show on what felt a fairly big occasion but Leeds did play well. Leeds' problem is they just can't go 3/4 games without a clanger. Could fully see them dropping points tomorrow.
-
Can't say I've spoken to many of them so wouldn't know.
-
I think they've gone up fairly substantially in this country anyway to be honest I think it's beyond Leicester. I remember us selling something like 900 at Cardiff in the first Pearson play-off season on a Saturday 3pm. Would never ever happen now.
-
I think we will quite easily. Not played there in a decade and it's up the road. A whole host of people who'll have seen that as one of the ones to do this season. I'd go as far as saying it's probably the away game that had the most anticipation it's just a shame it's ended up at a crap time (again). Given how quickly we sold the first bit I'd say we'll sell that comfortably. Our away numbers have shot up since the last time we were in this league.

Fair play LCFC that's good stuff.

The demand is clearly going to be there for this.
