  1. Thought his distribution was better than it has been today. Still raw and young as a keeper but looks a top talent.
  2. Spot on. Always the favourite for a scape goat. Hasn’t helped himself this week mind. Shit for 50mins. Having pereira next to him settled him down after.
  3. Keep an eye on the Leicester v Bham thread I’ll probably get in an hour or so mate
  4. Same source that gives me the team every week reckons that apparently KDH doesn’t even want to go. Not that it means a lot in this modern day football day and age even if true.
  5. That link of the agent is hilariously convenient. Rudkin thinks he’s so slick.
  6. Torn between “this will never happen not even WE are that stupid” and “Ornstein doesn’t get things wrong”.
  7. No one should be doubting Ornstein here. He’s about as reputable as it gets. 30m isn’t enough right now imo, so if they’re even low balling that figure this should be a non starter.
  8. Looks like Brandon Cover has trained with the first team today too. edit: And Raikhy
  9. See I was talking to my cov supporting mate about this (unfortunate I know), but he doesn’t need to do that as he won’t be signing a new contract if they don’t go up anyway.
  10. Can we reopen the O’Hare thread, more than enough sources on it now
  11. He’s clearly going, don’t get the point of starting him tomorrow
  12. Defo get the impression Enzo is fabricating a bit. But also, don’t think Sensi has even set foot in the country yet for it to be anywhere near close.
  13. I’ve seen some of the pelters you guys are getting on twitter… from those lot up the road in particular. Pretty embarrassing from them to even compare the two. Even saw a spurs fan compare one of theirs which was quite blatantly club produced (branding et al). Not sure these fans appreciate the man hours and funding.
  14. Think there’s a lot of that about to be honest so fair play for recognising it. All I say is if we play like that in 90% of the games we have left we win this league at a canter. Onto Swansea
  15. Like I said last night I genuinely think it was our best out of possession performance this season. It was extremely tight man to man stuff… there were times where Luongo would make a darting run when their keeper had the ball and KDH would follow him all the way. I think one of the moments in the first half where Faes went down in the penalty area came from him following Chaplin dropping extremely deep - before you know it Faes has robbed the ball and is in their penalty area. I find the details really intriguing. I understand why to some the football is dull, but if you pay attention to the details it actually can be super intriguing.
  16. We obviously established that Ipswich effectively progress the ball centrally. The idea was to let the CB’s have the ball. Cannon and KDH blocked the pass into Travis and Luongo. Justin and Faes were man to man on Harness and Chaplin no matter how far they drifted. This left Kasey and Mavididi to press the keeper and defence when ready to. This is what is annoying about fans losing patience and groaning to press - everyone has their own individual job and if one of them steps out and opens up a space you get played around. Almost like they knew what they were doing.
  17. Gala fans warned that he was a massive confidence player and I think it’s showing right now. There’s a player in there, but he needs a run of games and he’s just not going to get that here. Enzo knows his preferred front 5 so to speak.
  18. Could not agree with this more. We’ve scored so many goals where the number 8 under laps the winger and sticks an across in for us to score. Baffles me when he switches KDH to the right side and sometimes Ndidi left.
  19. You've got to laugh at the moans and discontent as the ball goes backwards only to be all standing on their feet cheering 20 passes later.
  20. Literally the best player on the pitch last night. Christ this thread can be mind numbing after we even remotely drop points.
  21. I think when you watch his goals, he’s clearly an intelligent footballer and makes the right runs off the ball and can finish. He’s also got an abundance of energy to press high up the pitch. People won’t like the comparison but think Perez with a bit more pace - Who was also better centrally than wide. Many have said it on here, but I think he can play that 8 position, I’d rather him there than Akgun personally when needs be. He isn’t a winger - definitely not on the right. He’s showed flashes of good stuff from the left (Vs Liverpool in pre season and Hull at home) but from the right he has no interest in taking on his man on the outside and is also right footed ruling out the cut inside for a shot option.
  22. Ah fair enough. He’s a shit source that bloke anyway.
  23. Yes please. Little shithouse. And it would send that lot into meltdown. Worth it for that alone let alone the fact he’s the creative talent we’re missing. Probably not going to happen but interested to know how much it would take with him out of contract in the summer.
  24. Keita is still owned by Leuven.
  25. I’ve watched the first half back and the out of possession work and press was genuinely the best it has been this season. It might have appeared a bit like people were getting dragged all over the place to you because we were going man to man without the ball. Faes was following Chaplin (Which was why you might have seen him pop up in midfield). Justin following Harness. Cannon on Travis. And Dewsbury-Hall on Luongo. Leaving Mavididi and McAteer making the choice on when to engage the keeper and centre backs. It really really worked. They didn’t get out for the whole of the first half and McKenna never really found a solution to getting out and creating chances. Let’s be honest they created next to nothing. But they're a very good organised side. We deserved to win the game but that’s football.
