It appears the deals were done early at a knock down price to meet FFP requirements (ie to get the money within the current year accounts, something that Notts F failed to do with the Johnson deal).

The fact that Enzo actually acknowledged Sensi by name makes it sound like he's confident that he'll be in the squad during this window. I was expecting a bland 'We are always interested in good players' type of response.
