Clearly a wind-up as they know we read their forum.

It just wasn't fair.

If we can only bring in one player then we'll need to cross our collective fingers that it's in the position where the loss occurs.

Hull are Cup rivals (possibly).

Still leaves us vulnerable for a crucial 4-6 weeks (and whilst we are still in the cup). I think it's another position to fill with a loan/option to buy in the summer as we are most likely to lose Iheanacho, Vardy, and Daka if we get a decent offer.

So, if Cannon gets injured in training this week who would we select in the no. 9 position on Saturday? And subsequent games until our 37 year old Vardy is back?

I'm just as concerned about where the goals will come from if Cannon gets injured. Currently our only fit and available no. 9.

Another good chance to play squad players

Cov had a lower status than Notts County and nothing much has changed.

I've been going since the 70's (as a teenager) and Cov was always a bit of a laugh. No one took them seriously, other than the Noel Cantwell thing, but we all went as it was local. Derby pretty much the same eventhough they were the darlings of Central TV sport and always seemed to be on Star Soccer. Notts Forest on the other hand was different, more menancing, more watch-your-back type of place and was, without doubt, the big regional rivalry until they struck up a love affair with Derby (which was much later). Older fans will confirm this, it passed down to me by my Dad and uncles.

Sounds like it's another of those where the Italian buying club waits and waits until the last minute on deadline day forcing the price down as we get more desparate to sell.

There's a lot of dribble in Coventry but at least you come home with clean car windows.

Sounds like our family stand

Always had more City fans on the West Terrace than Window Lickers in the 70's. They always had a block immediately behind the goal but were surrounded on both sides and down the front along the wall. We used to walk through their fans from one side to the other with City scarves on display. Just a dare for daft teenagers but managed to survive.

Don't want a match that would encourage the use of our starting 11. Much prefer a lower league or Championship team so that we can again utilise our squad. I enjoyed watching them yesterday.

I don't know any Cov fans so nothing personal for me. I only want to beat them as I know it will make the lives of many of ours much easier for a bit. And because of the twat that called me an inbred the last time we went there.

I'm more apprehensive about Cannon starting seeing as he's our only fit no. 9 and only recently back from a major injury.

Horrible thought.... but if Cannon gets injured tomorrow who do we have to play no. 9 given that our other 3 strikers are either injured or unavailable?

Good to hear the other quartet are 'recovering' but when will they be available? You'd have hoped journo might have asked.
