  1. I think you need to use their app.
  2. Landmark Leicester pub closed down and put on the market One of Leicester's most distinctive pubs has been closed down and put on the market. The Counting House in Freemen's Common, is a large, Grade II listed building now looking for new owners. Located between the King Power Stadium and the Leicester Tigers Welford Road ground, it was popular with sports fans, as well as being close to the city's Morrisons supermarket, Nandos and McDonald's restaurants and the Odeon cinema. However, the future of the site is now up in the air after WTS Commercial confirmed the pub had closed down and the landmark site is now up for sale. Sales documents suggest the iconic building could be divided up for would-be buyers. In their advert, WTS Commercial said The Counting House, in Almond Road, spans 0.38 acres and comes with accommodation, parking spaces as well as seating for 110 people. Rental offers on the site will be considered according to the sales documents. The advert said: "The Counting House is a large single-storey Grade II listed detached property of brick construction beneath various pitched and hipped roofs with a tall clock tower. The ground floor comprises of an open plan trading area which can accommodate around 60 covers plus a large bar servery. There is a further seating area for around 50 covers located in the middle of the building which benefits from a glazed frontage. Ancillary areas include customer WC's (including disabled), catering kitchen with a dumb waiter to the basement and a large basement cellar with an office, staff room, staff WC's, boiler room, large beer store and various storage areas. The private accommodation is located at ground floor level and comprises of two bedrooms, lounge, domestic kitchen, office and a bathroom." WTS says offers are being invited for the landmark Leicester site. More information can be found online.
  3. I always sing WYS loud and proud. Couldn't be bothered to even stand up yesterday
  4. See the two blokes wearing Fez's in SK4 yesterday? They had some sort of red flag which didn't appear to be Liverpool. BEK fans?
  5. Looking back, I didn't see one team that impressed me the whole season. Perhaps we dragged them all down to our level or they didn't need to get out of second gear. Whatever, the standard of football has been appalling this season. The two half n half Liverpool fans sat in front of me yesterday spent the entire game on their phones writing on forums. No interaction with the match, no applause, no standing, nothing. Perhaps respectful to those around them but they might as well have stayed at home. Grim.
  6. Just one more point please Southampton
  7. Really need Southampton to pick up a couple of points. I'm sure that we'll oblige.
  8. How much?! Blimey. If that's the cost of Sky then I won't be renewing my subscription, ever. I currently pay £29.99 per month for BT Broadband (300mbps download) and £1.15 per month for a Lebara SIM. Oh, and £8 for a shared Netflix account.
  9. In certain circumstances it's not possible for people to live their lives as the opposite sex as they want to. For example, a trans woman (ie a man) cannot legally enter women only spaces, if that's what they want to do.
  10. Are you really a Doctor?
  11. Dunno, check with the Supreme Court. Right?
  12. Thank God the Supreme Court has simplified this. Jeez.
  13. Wouldn't that just sum up our season Don't know why I'm laughing, it's not funny.
  14. Sex work may be part of the issue but wouldn't that also apply to women that also have bills to pay? The headline remains that in the 2021 census, 'trans women' are 5-times more likely to commit sexual crimes than men. You said... [Trans women are not men, not sociologically, not biological]. ...but they are men legally. It's very clear.
  15. Don't the club insist that you are a member or at least have a buying history? Probably not as they must own the rights to that seat. However, I suspect the law must be broken if they sell to an individual or even an online agency who subsequently resell at any price. I don't believe the club would do that.
  16. I think that might break the law.
  17. https://sex-matters.org/posts/updates/what-did-we-learn-from-the-census/ Comparing with the prison population Mar Vickers and Wings over Scotland have published comparisons of the census data with figures on men and women in prison for sex offences. In March 2021, there were 11,660 men and 103 women, plus 92 “trans women”, in prison in England and Wales for sex offences. 11,660 men out of a population of 29.5 million = 1 in 2,530 men serving time for sex offences. 103 women out of 30.4 million = 1 in 295,000 women serving time for sex offences. 92 transwomen out of 48,000 = 1 in 522 transwomen serving time for sex offences. That suggests that men who identify as “trans women” are five times more likely than other men, and 566 times more likely than women, to commit sexual offences. If the numbers of “trans women” goes down further through recalculation, this proportion will rise.
  18. I think that has happened before. Can't believe that staff would be stupid enough to sell them on.
  19. So these are online touts that have somehow got tickets? Original holders of those tickets could be receiving a ban if the club follow up on the origins of the original purchaser. The tickets may also be cancelled. More fool anyone that sells or buys them.
  20. This has just made Mrs Spud very happy. She loves Abdul.
  21. Henry VII had more English ancestry than Welsh. At that time, Wales was part of England and had been since Edward I (and legally before that). 4 of the 5 Tudor Monarchs were born and raised in England and had no ties to Wales.
