Why do people think he should have only come to us? Maybe he never wanted to leave the south. Geography/location can sometimes play a bit part in someone's decision to move clubs or not.

Only seen the goals (James and Fatawu with the worldies) but sounds like we dropped off again when we scored, but showed good character to go on to win the game after the howler of the decision for their penalty. For all our shortcomings so far this season, and with us potentially still to properly get going it feels pretty good that we sit in 3rd and only 3 points off the top. Coventry look miles ahead (attacking and goals-wise). It might be an indicator of how bad the league is that we can be average more often than not and still be as high as we are. But to me it's a positive as opposed to being towards the bottom end of all the dross.

Sadly, I kind of expect it these days. I know that doesn't make it right, and probably makes it worse really.

I swear sometimes people think Starmer is there sitting on every single criminal case and being judge and jury in one go, across the country As if judges themselves don't use their own mitigation and prerogatives to decide on cases with all the info at hand as opposed to what's in the papers (and that works both ways).

Started my new job this week. Went on my first visit in one of our patches. Was with a white colleague, joint visit with her. Tenant opens the door, 'you can come in' he says to her. Looks and points at me, and says, 'you stay where you are, I'm not having a coloured in my property'. If Brits (not all, I know), want to be back in the 60s and 70s they've well and truly achieved it.
