  1. Would still prefer Okoli with Vestergaard. That midfield is already significantly stronger than Soumare/Skipp combo. Even if Cifuentes doesn't like Winks to start, at least with James and Ramsey complimenting the wingers we have some creativity and energy in the middle.
  2. Who do you think would be in place instead of him? I'd find it very ironic if it was Zia Yusuf. Given the video they put out yesterday on social media, he was getting just as many pelters in his replies as non-Brits would be!
  3. Could Farage legit become PM? I don't mean in the sense of victory after a general election, but surely someone must have some dirt on him to make his position untenable before it's even started?? What about his own tax affairs? Offshore tax accounts? Will any of his extreme policies even work their way through parliament even if they are elected?
  4. Most definitely wasn't doing this!
  5. Carranza hat trick.
  6. Lammy as Deputy Leader. Ffs.
  7. Lee Anderson is scum. Nothing new here.
  8. I thought Reform had more sense than to associate with Dorries, let alone put her in a position of authority I guess they've proved me wrong. She's worse than useless, whatever that may be.
  9. I'm amazed Reeves has lasted as long as she has. Guess she's been given until November to try and turn things round but that's nigh on impossible.
  10. She has resigned as deputy leader too.
  11. On a side note, and trivial might I add, but how bad is Starmer's handwriting His letter to Rayner on the BBC site took me about 3 times to read each sentence to make sense of it!
  12. Can understand why she's had to resign and got no qualms about that decision. Shame that people of her background and upbringing are no longer represented at such a high level in government though. Is there anyone similar to her, in that respect, in Labour at the moment, that could replace her?
  13. Yes we bloody well do.
  14. Maybe because they were hurled with abuse during their own (young) lives, similar or even worse to the scale we see today! Speak to most ethnic minorities in their 20s/30s/40s and they'll have many stories of their parents being chased down the streets after school, running home just to avoid it, being racially targeted at football matches, spat at, kicked, punched, graffiti on their shop windows, met with signs saying 'no blacks, Irish...'. Can you see why they fight a losing battle? 'THEY DON'T INTEGRATE!!!' It's not fvcking made easy that's why!! 'they should do more to join in and get involved with the community'. Maybe they already do but you (the racists, not specifically you JTH) perhaps don't want to mix in theirs either because you think it's all bombs and sex crimes and criminal activity. There's no obligation to, of course. It's not a must. But trying to get someone involved in your own community only helps if it's a welcoming and friendly one or if there's mutual respect on either side. Far-right think everyone is a bad egg, without even giving them a hint of a chance to join in to the English community. What's even more amusing is that sometimes the shops or establishments they've created when they've migrated here is actually part of the community!! They're in the heart of it! So ironically they've possibly done more to be in the community than any far-right racist 'patriot' has in their life, who shuns away people regardless of background/culture compared to an immigrant who's overcome all the adversity and hatred and still tried to, wait for it, integrate...
  15. I'd love for Eagles to do it again because Barkley is so good to watch. But you wonder if Bills could finally do it with their offence. Ravens perhaps? I think Seahawks (the team I follow) may just about make playoffs but can't see it being anything special this season.
  16. Ffs, I read this without realising when they were playing and thought this was legit
  17. So I thought it was. Got the confirmation yesterday to say the order was successful. Now I've just had an email saying they're awaiting payment of my order?? Why does this seem extremely dodgy all of a sudden...?
  18. Please tell me this was intentional mate
  19. How sad it has come to that, though. I hope you have a better society and life there for your family. No child deserves to have to be subject to either their parents with bigoted views or be on the receiving end of said child's abuse. That's what saddens me about this whole debacle these days - the older folk are all FUBAR. At least kids will have a chance to change but they're on the wrong path already.
  20. It was at an airport. Aren't they all armed there?
  21. I don't know if it's because I have a young kid now but I'm genuinely worried sometimes for mine and my family's safety when going out on the street or into town or just being out like normal people do! Drove through a small village to get to my parents' house this morning. Roundabout fvcking painted in the shittiest way I don't actually laugh, I just pity the people that feel like it means anything, or if they feel like it puts them in a position of strength about anything. Seeing more and more examples of people going about their daily business or holidays and just randomly getting pelted with abuse. The sad thing? It's kids dishing it out. KIDS! Young children that will be amongst my child in school in just a few years time. They're innocent children being brainwashed by their ignorant bigoted parents. How is that fair? The irony? Do I feel safe in the street any more? Not particularly. The thing they moan about and that fuels their anger? Not feeling safe on the streets any more. Congratulations to them we're now in the same small boat (pun intended). My worry is purely for my child - how do I know who he's going to interact with as he gets older or what that family's views are? How do I know he'll be safe? How do I know when I take him to his first football match (or cricket, rugby, whatever sport) that he's not going to get verbally abused just for being in the same place at the same time as a small narrow-minded emboldened racist *****?!
  22. I guess everyone's scales are going to be different so moot to some and not others.
  23. It's fine to have flags in your house and be proud of your heritage and country you live in and are from, but also be proud of the diversity that has helped the country flourish over several decades/generations. Encourage that hate doesn't and won't ever win. Something along those lines.
  24. I'm disappointed in how Labour are finding themselves in these positions, when they were basically gifted the election and power last summer. There's too much going wrong and too many negative highlights for me to be vindicated in my choice to vote for them. Their leadership has been underwhelming. The recent flag-shagging debate they seem to have taken the wrong side on, or at least not one that I relate to. They seem to have emboldened bigots with their recent statements and I think they could have been wiser and more shrewd about it. Regarding the tax thing - you're right in that Badenoch/Farage would have got pelters for it. Rightly so. But is that not because of the company they surround themselves in and their own party's records or individuals involved in corruption and back handers? On one hand I don't agree with what Rayner did on but I also don't think she should be sacked for it. It's like any of us when it comes to loopholes - wouldn't we all want to save a bit of money where we can, if there's no illegalities involved?
  25. Apparently Redzone is going to have ads
