I can't get on board with 'throwing' the game. I don't think it's pointless, either. Right now I'd just be happy for any of the chosen 11 + subs to at least pretend they care and actually show a bit of professionalism and pride. Even if we do end up losing, this bunch of players have a lot of making up to do, so to speak, after yesterday.

Worry he'll show Man Utd way too respect and we'll be thrashed again. A team set up not to press, even though teams have got at Utd this season and profited. We're too weak in mentality and physicality, and have too many weak points across the squad which Ruud doesn't know how to combat.

I don't think they'd be ready for promotion. And it'd be sickening to be in Championship while they're in the PL if it did happen, even if they did do shit every game

Still so perplexed RVN didn't make changes at half time. The team was crying out for something different. There's no way some of those players should have escaped being hooked off and not come out again 2nd half. Pathetic from the players but equally so from RVN for not having the balls to make such obvious changes. Soumare should have been subbed, and it was quite clear Reid and Ayew were doing square root of fvck all to attack or defended. They were just there. Fillers and passengers. Could have easily swapped Faes or Vestergaard for Okoli earlier too.

My worry too. Wouldn't put it past them to win their next two against Bournemouth and Brighton. They'd only be two points behind us if that was the case as we're not beating Arsenal and Brentford on current showing...
