He's a weak manager who probably couldn't believe his luck when he got the job, because nothing he has done in his career would suggest he should be even considered for it.
I genuinely think our clueless senior leadership thought we'd just have a repeat of 2023/24 and we'd romp to promotion playing a similar style of play and he's probably gone with the senior players over youth because of it.
A stronger manager would have initiated a rebuild of sorts and got rid of the likes of Faes and Winks during the summer at all costs; playing these two all season has gotten Marti very close to the sack (you'd think). We are months behind because only now, after seemingly falling out with Winks, he's got what appears to be his best team available to him playing.
He's still got to go for me, but if he is to have a future here, we need some proper consistency over the Christmas period.
