Looking at the news the last few days in regards to Iran and it's like the US was never there. All being reported as Israel attacking them. Interesting twist, not sure why, but assume it's to do with trump quickly retreating as soon as it got a bit messy

As someone living in Wales I think it was a stupid thing to say. It may be an off the cuff jokey remark but as someone who wants to stand up and represent the country, it's really not a good look. Thing to remember as well, there's a lot of history of the Welsh language being surpressed, so it's not as simple as a joke about a language when you take historical context into account. Long story short, Farage is an idiot, but it probably won't bother those who support him anyway

I personally agree with you BUT I also think that's the state of the game today and would say whilst harsh it's still ambiguous enough that it's just a decision that's been made that I disagree with. I don't think there's anything more and certainly not worthy of leaving the field of play. This isn't Liverpool getting a penalty for the ball hitting Wes Morgan in the face or Erland Jonson throwing himself to the floor levels of wrong. And don't even get me started on Garry Parker getting sent off at atletico.

It's pretty clear that behind the scenes the grown ups are still cracking on and working with the US on what we can and will do. Trumps mad rambling about the UK really should be taken with a pinch of salt. Guys lost his absolute mind, after all the shit he gave Biden and he's ten times worse.

'for their own life and safety' seems very much like a veiled threat to me. Release the MAGA idiots and see what they can do, much like the capitol attack

I happened to overhear a few minutes of GB news today. I was literally shouting at the TV. They were interviewing people on the left, protesting against the war and people on the war, supporting the war. They came back to the studio and the presenter was banging on about how they both dispised starmer and how it was nonsense he was getting praise for not taking us into war, as we would never have gone to war. As you say, absolute tosh, the two on the right would have walked straight into being trumps lapdogs last week. Whether you like starmer or not, he's played the Iran special military operation brilliantly
-
I wonder if this counts as a election to judge the government and Keir starmer? I keep hearing farage say that in regards to the upcoming Welsh election, even though we are voting on members of the senedd. Personally I think Labour will struggle in Wales, as the Welsh labour government have not been great, personally I'll be voting green or plaid but if it was UK elections for parent I would vote differently

Whilst that does sound like an absolute dream, I think they've left themselves to much to do. It was only a few weeks ago the lost to palace and drew with forest. There's no way they win 5 from 8, and even if they did, I don't think that'd be enough.

If you know what's coming, there just as much money to be made from the dips. Trump knows what he's doing. It was the same with the tariffs, effectively market manipulation
-
Trump is such an arse, **** him, to say it's not exactly Winston Churchill he's dealing with, oh yeah, when Americans were 2 years late to come help. It's another illegal war and I'm so glad we aren't getting dragged into it. As bad as the Iranian regime was, this isn't the way to deal with it
-
Also shout out to Ed Davey who questioned and challenged the government in a well thought and grown up way. Much more of an opposition to the government than kemi who was appalling.

Personally think starmer has nailed this. For all his faults, he's been exactly what we need on the international stage. Reform and conservatives humping try ps leg in a bid to be relevant makes me sick. To think we left the EU to preserve our sovereignty only for these clowns to want Trump to make all the decisions before us. Fingers crossed this may be a turning point in UK politics where people start using their common sense again and seeing some of these parties for what they really are.

Good battling point, certainly feels like Rowatt had stopped the rot BUT we have to go get three points on Saturday now

Just had an email from my estate agent, my buyer wants me to pay for and provide an up to date EICR carried out by a qualified electrician and a Current Gas Safety Certificate. My house is only 15 years old, it's the third house I've sold and I've never had to provide any of that. Thoughts people of foxestalk? My thoughts are that if they want those checks they can pay for them, not me.

Can we start a petition for big Nig? Is it 10k signatures for it to be discussed in parliament 🤣🤣

If top was clever, hed get Pearson in and tell him to rebuild the club from the top down. If that means rudkins gone and we Pearson can find his own boss then so be it. Only way to make Leicester great again

Mark Davies was the one that sprung to mind. The other being Micky Galloway, came in from Celtic, looked the business, hard man in midfield, broke both his legs in a car accident if I remember correctly then had issues with alcohol. There's obviously some better loan signings that we went onto sign, but for standalone loans, these two stuck out for me
