    Houses

We made 2 offers, were told they had this unproceedable offer £20k above the asking price but would go with us if we matched it. We walked away, couldn't afford £20k above the asking price and absolutely stunk the way it was handled. I still think it was bullshit.

Yeah hopefully, gotta say the estate agents been immense hence why we had an offer so quickly. Fingers crossed tomorrow goes our way 🤞

    Houses

Had an offer on my house. Lower than I'd like and asked the estate agent to try and up it. 2 more viewings tomorrow as well. It has allowed me to put a low ball offer in on the house I like. See what tomorrow brings.

    Houses

Our house goes on the market tomorrow. Viewed a house tonight and it's bloody perfect, just need to sell my house and hope nobody else buys it in the meantime. He did indicate somebody had put in an offer but hadn't sold there house yet so it wasn't proceed able. Anybody with better knowledge than me know if that sounds legit or if he's just bullshitting? Doesn't help he was a proper salesman, talked a load of shite the whole time we were there and was actually the worst bit about the viewing.
  5. Well I for one am hopeful that this will be a good thing. Ownership, financial security of clubs and fan engagement are not exactly managed well at the moment so I don't think it could get much worse. Happy to give them time and hope they can stop football in this country being as fan unfriendly as it is ATM.
  6. Just don't understand how this would even be a consideration. We've collected too many average players and we don't need any full backs. Depending on who goes we literally need 2 or 3 players at most. Striker, creative midfielder and possibly centre back but we need to ship the overpaid dross out first.
  7. I mean they should defo be looking to buy a new keeper, but because he's shit, not injured.
  8. I think the fact he is clearly desperate to come here, rather than sit at home and pick up his QPR pay check is a huge positive. My main concern with Rohl was always the talk of wanting to go back to Germany. He would not have been as committed as we would want or need. I don't know enough about the guy from managerial point of view to comment but what I can see is I like his desire and you have to hope that he's learnt a lot in the last two years at QPR. If he then will promote the youth as we need, he's half way there before he's started. Personally I'd like him to take a leaf out of marescas book when he went to Chelsea, any ody who doesn't want to be here, or is surplus to requirements can train on their own away from the main group. Let's give some of these guys like faes a soumare a reminder it's in their interest to go as well.
  9. With daka, Evans and Ayew, I'm not saying it's not a priority position but I don't think we need a couple, and I think it might be harder to get the right level striker that we need. Again though, biggest job is getting players out. Trim the squad right down
  10. But who actally really wants them?
  11. How much do we really need to buy though? Between the squad we have and the young players we want to integrate, there's probably close to 50 players there. I'd much rather we clear the decks as much as possible. Clear the wage bill and have a squad that gives those younger players a chance. Realistically 1 or 2 signings should be plenty but we could get rid of 10-15 players first and still have a strong squad. Getting the 10-15 players gone is the difficult thing.
  12. Anyone mentioned hassenhuttl?
  13. For all we know she could have had a loss of a family member, or news someone was terminally ill. These people are voted in and many feel a real responsibility to turn up and represent voters, no matter what. Could have put on a brave face but it all became too much. I've literally just made that up but it's just as likely given we know **** all. And why is it any of our business if it is something personal such as the above? Personally I'm much more worried about getting this country back on track after the Tories ****ed than I am because a women cried.
  14. Politician is human shocker! Geez some of you guys need to give your head a wobble. None of us know what's going on, until we do, maybe just accept that none of us are perfect and there's nothing wrong with showing some emotion. Personally I'd rather that than be ruled by robots. I said the same when Theresa May resigned and was clearly upset. We knew why then, we don't now.
  15. Didn't they change the rules so these decisions have to fast tracked and dealt with in the same season. Might be another potential angle if they try and hit us with a big points deduction.
  16. Still don't think they got the actual policy wrong in regards to winter fuel payments. Problem was it was such an own goal in regards to giving the opposition a stick to beat them with, that eventually they caved, even though I still believe it was the right thing to do and that money would be much better used elsewhere.
  17. That's a company in the town I live in. See it all the time and think exactly the same thing 🤣
  18. It's fine, we are still waiting for the billions we will gain from Brexit. As soon as that kicks in we will be golden.
  19. I'll go for the Winnipeg blue bombers, just because that's where Neil young is from
  20. Screw cats! I like cats but other people's cats can keep out of my garden, they shit everywhere and attack the wildlife. By all means do that in there own garden, but not mine
  21. Had a gold ringed dragonfly in the garden this afternoon. Flew in the garden and landed on a hanging basket. Was still there this evening and was clearly struggling, it ended up falling off the basket in to some plants and couldn't fly at all. I managed to spoon feed it some surgery water. Within 5 minutes it had the strength to fly off.
  22. Quick Google suggests it is, he's an academy coach at QPR.
  23. So that was my first attempt, definitely learnt some lessons, but the pulled pork was outstanding, a pretty easy cook and thoroughly enjoyable. I've been in the garden all day, pottering about, beer in hand. The joint I bought cost £8 and fed a family of 5 with leftovers. Honestly it was the best day off I've had in forever, just a shame I'm back in work tomorrow 🤣
  24. It's just have a rest, before I pull it apart ready to go in a burger
  25. And after!
