Ya because he likely won't get into the utd first team and will be playing at the same level as where we are now (u21s or maybe a loan to a lower league). I agree we wont be in the EPL in 2 seasons. Perhaps the higher weekly wage is the goal for him but far too often kids go off to big clubs, rot and careers go sideways. I think he would be better suited for a championship club but that's not how it works when people are dropping cash lol.
